Groups of any kind, including religious, can force or try to mould you into something less than or even foreign to the way God made you.It is so important to hear that still small voice and then challenging to follow it. The narrow road is not that of approval and nor can lack of popularity be an excuse not to exclusively follow where He leads. All the great prophets were loners and even sought that in deserts and wildernesses to be alone with Him. These are painful decisions and the fruition of such efforts often a long time in the making.
funny I never recognized that ‘all the great prophets were loners’ thats true.. and as a loner myself you’d think I would have thought about that
