Praying for Both of you guys. Glad you are doing well now. Crazy stuff that we have to Deal with as we get older, not a Big Fan… Lol. Just glad you guys are doing better.
Hi Bryan hope you’re on the road to feeling better! Your wife is being taken care of now it’s time for you the caregiver…I had the same experience 4 years ago and got a bill from the ambulance service 2 years later…huge…I’m really lucky to be here at Treemont cause the head nurse did the paperwork which was 40 pages!! That’s my only complaint cause it was all covered . Years ago when I turned 65 for Medicare I talked to my doctor about insurance and got advice and it was . I only pay monthly premiums for everything including dental eyes and ears and that’s good cause my right ear hurts. Apparently says sound was too loud..not important. You need to be strong Bryan cause YOU’RE THE CAREGIVER NOW!
The picture of Cassie in bed with her cell and wrist band looks so much like me! The only difference is that I take selfies. Please tell her I hope she’s well soon .
Went through this when my Inga had collapsed 17 years ago and turns out she needed her gallbladder removed. I am praying for you both my friend. In Jesus name
My goodness. I am sorry for you both going through all these medical things.
Still crazy the hospital kicked you out when they should have at least checked you out.
I pray the Lord will bring healing of all of this for both of you and provide for all the medical bills that always seem to arrive faster than the medical treatments they give.
Spend time in the healing scriptures which will continue to help you focus on the Healer to bring peace in the midst of it all
Thankfully you got to the hospital ok. Hope you are both feeling better today. …reminds me of the time my Dad went to see my grandpa in the hospital…dad didn’t do well in hospitals…he fainted and ended up in one of the beds lol…please take care!!!
Well you two have been busy! Although Her fall was serious I’m so glad it wasn’t serious-er! My hubby just had the same surgery last Fall at 51yrs old. AND Drink your water Sir! Continued prayers for both of you.
B, MY PRAYERS ARE DEFINITELY WITH YOU AND CASSIE . YOU MAY NOT FEEL LIKE IT AT TIMES BUT TRY TO MAKE SURE EAT WELL AS POSSIBLE AND GET A MODERATE AMOUNT OF REST TO KEEP YOUR STRENGTH UP CAUSE YOU”RE GONNA NEED IT ! YOUR IMMEADIATE FAM GOT YOUR BACK AND ARE GONNA BE THERE FOR BOTH OF YOU ! AND YOU KNOW YOUR BACK ROW NUTSHELLIAN FAM ARE SENDING UP THE PRAYERS AND GOT YOUR BACK TOO !
Yeah what a week. Sorry to hear. They say those things come in 3s. So your wife, you, and the invoice. Those bills are enough to make anyone sick.. I pray your wife and you will get back on the right track. No more side rails. Good health!!
That’s why I both pray and meditate in the morning when I first wake up…I know i need to slow down and be blessed by the grace of God…the median age here is 95 so I’m the baby at 72. I’m also bedridden and a minority in that which slows me down. Before the rigamaroll did situps on my core ball and 100 crunches a day. Super active until I was 60 which was the major fallout….I know how it is to be 60 and 72! I wear a Phil 4:13 bracelet that I never take off. But you know me Bryan and that I’m in recovery here which is why I do these nutshellsermons and I’m so happy it’s you Bryan cause we’re the same age…thank you for letting me stay!
Bryan I know I’m writing a lot of personal stuff and I’m going to leave it for you to edit. First of all I’m not a professional musician and I’m not from the west coast. We lived very different lives in different worlds . I can’t help but write my heart out here cause right now I don’t have a very large circle of friends who understand me cause I’m here in 24/7 care. I do have friends here but a lot of time to myself and I need blessings from God’s grace. I understand what you say and it makes me feel so much better!! What’s that worth to me? A fortune!! Thanks for letting me drift down the stream of senior life iin a nutshell sailboat ⛵️ it’s the safest place to be now! You ♥️ are welcome to publish whatever I write. Thanks again for your fellowship!!
I was in my mid40s and not feeling well. Hubby suggested I needed some exercise to help me feel better so to me to play tennis. Ummm, didn’t work cause next day I’m in surgery for an appendectomy. Doc asked if I was trying to relive my teens, haha! Just be nice and don’t make her laugh, like that’s really gonna happen, : )
You know we’re prayin for you two.
I ❤️ sailboats ⛵️! Very good metaphor! They make me focus on my course and are so cool with the breeze…I’ll just have to find a toothpick for sale! Lol at today’s prices don’t know if I can afford it…maybe Santa will put it in my stocking

Hi Brian, Hoping and praying you and your dear wife have had a better week this week. I have now completed my novel that quotes your song “You’re Never Alone”. You gave me permission several years ago in writing to use it in the novel but I need to have an updated permission email from you as the book is going to be published in October. I can’t wait for you to see it and read it. It’s an awesome fictional story of a journey from tragedy to hope. Please email me and we can talk. Thank you my friend. I love your posts. Keep up the good work
