  1. Well Bryan, friends from ‘my day’ are going away. I’m thinking “Now or Never” could have been followed by “The Lord is calling you”. I’m just wondering where do we go from here? I guess it’s all in God’s hands… Or am I repeating yourself?

  2. Wow Bryan you have the knack for describing exactly what I feel now…and that’s SCB in the 70s…thanks so much for waking me up with it this morning cause the day felt much gloom cause I decided to watch TV and movies all day…by TV I mean series like Brit drama and cooking and travel…of course I don’t plan to change that itinerary, just think I’m okay now that I’m with the brotherhood or rather sisterhood? or just hood? On the backrow today!…I belong somewhere and that’s my blessing for today…may there be many more! Thank you Bryan for making my day.

  3. Love the crunchy guitar and lyrics. Nice intro and ending. One of SCBS best album. My first SCB album.
” when you stand on the bottom and look up at the top, you know, you’ve got to make a change or two”

  4. This was my first SCB album! I loved the lyrics to this song and how it worked with the overall theme of theme of the album. Cool intro and ending.

  5. I had that album, or more accurately, that cassette! In fact, I had several of SCB’s earliest albums. Still enjoy all the early albums on Spotify now, and have SCB and your music saved among my favorites.
    Blessings on you guys!

  6. Great idea to bring out some oldies! I love the 70s music…at night I plug in YTM with one of your earlier albums or songs and hear the songs that follow the song or album not necessarily you cept same genre this am. woke up and heard you twice..
Didn’t know it but recognized your voice…Kevin Thompson said once that music can be used for the good or bad and you my special friend are so good !!

I REMEMBER GETTING THE ALBUM BACK THEN AND COULDN’T STOP PLAYING THAT SONG OVER AND OVER,MAN IT WAS MY SONG ! NOW I GET TO LISTEN TO IT THROUGH BOSE TV SPEAKERS AND IT PICKS UP STUFF THAT MY RECORD PLAYER BACK THEN DIDN’T DO JUSTICE ! MY EARS ARE A BIT MORE DETECTIVE NOW IN MY OLDER AGE . I HAVE A GREATER APPRECIATION FOR KEVIN’S BASS LINE THROUGH OUT THAT TUNE IT WAS OFF THE HOOK GOOD AND RICK’S DRUMMING WAS HYPNOTICLY MESMERISING WOW !BOY THAT LINE” AND YOU STAND ON THE BOTTOM AND STARE AT THE TOP YOU KNOW YOU GOT TO MAKE A CHANGE OR TWO ” WAS ONE THE BEST LINES I HEARD BACK THEN CAUSE IT WAS SO TRUE ! ALL I WANT TO KNOW B IS WHO CAME UP WITH THAT BEGINNING AND ENDING RIFF AND WHO CAME UP WITH THAT DRIVING BASS AND THAT TOP BEAT DRUM PART THAT RAN THROUGHOUT THE SONG? THAT DER WAS KICKING ! AND KNOW WHAT, IT REALLY KICKS COMING THROUGH MY BOSE TV SPEAKERS STILL TODAY ! MAN THEY JUST DON’T MAKE MUSIC LIKE THIS NO MO !

    1. I believe the beginning and end stuff was from the mind of Jack Joseph Puig, who was engineering this project.. me? I just played to chords and wrote the lyrics you like
