Bryan you’re so accurate about having to replace necessary items…what a pain! The bigger the item…like a car…the bigger the $$$! Or maybe it’s something small like a hairbrush that breaks off at the end after a few times I have some of those and my caregiver useo them. I’ve told her to just throw it away, I have a bunch ordered bundle. She says no and fixes it. Mistakenly ordered them…bag of 42! I know what a super sale is! It’s buy it and you’ll need more! I ordered a special one for wet hair after shower that I use myself at night. It costs more but it’s perfect! I’ve learned that knowledge of what you’re buying makes difference!
I will trade you for my 2008 Toyota Highlander lol so far it’s been pretty good but have had some issues we had to fix.
I wish I could afford a newer one. But at least it gets me down the road most of the time.
Had it in the shop for an alignment last week after it had to sit in the driveway for 3 days.
We take transportation for granted until it refuses to go anywhere haha
Well I’m prepared for that…I just ordered a tiny tool eye glass kit on line for just that purpose although it’s for my Rx tri focal lenses…my only pair…don’t want to lose. Rx is still fine…can’t go to clinic nowadays. Also too $$$. And of course I guilt the Lilly with some chains to keep them on. Got a very good deal of a little more than $ per chain . Came in a pack. Now I sincerely hope all of this will work! Also a pack of cleaning cloths. Don’t always wear them cause don’t always need trivision…point is I’m prepared!!
My readers cost a little more and are very durable. Those cheap ones are just that. Being honest I don’t buy by price just by brand and recommendation. The best lipstick I bought was L.A. Colors at the dollar store…creamy matte long lasting. My lawyer said I was frugal but articulate…Great support!
BOY B, BEEN THERE DONE THAT WITH THE REBUILT ENGINE THING WORKED OUT FAIRLY DECENT GAVE ME ANOTHER 4 OR FIVE YEARS OF GOOD DRIVING BUT WENT DOWN SOON AFTER THAT WITH OTHER THINGS . I DIDN’T MIND TO MUCH CAUSE BY THEN I HAD PUT MAYBE 13 YEARS INTO IT ! I GOT ONE NOW APROCHING 17 YEARS HAD LITTLE JOBS HERE AND THERE BUT AT 133,00 MILES SHE STILL KICKING PRETTY GOOD! LOTS OF TIMES IT’S NOT THE REPLACEMENT PARTS PER SE( ALTHOUGH THAT CAN BE QUITE PRICEY TOO) BUT IT’S THE LABOR TO GET IT INSTALLED THAT S WHAT GETS A BRUTHA SINGING THOSE HIGH NOTES LIKE YOU USE TO ! I GARRANTEE YOU B ONCE THAT LABOR COST SQUEEZE IS ON YOU HAVE NEVER HAD A WHIPPIN THAT YOU MAY HAVE GOTTEN WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG THAT HURT THAT BAD ! SO PLEASE READ THE SMALL PRINT BEFORE BUYING AND ALWAYS REMEMBER” DON’T FALL FOR THE “BANANA IN THE TAILPIPE” !
They do sabotage their product. I remember the Ford commercials. Its so durable you can passi it down to your grandchildren. Wow. Today 3-5 years trade-in. We have a shoe repair guy in Carmiel. My wife visits to repair stuff. We have a watch repair man as well. So maybe were behind the times. Interesting twist. If you maintain something you dont have to restore it. Job was a special case…
Wow…sorry about your car. I can’t believe how far behind I am on these nutshells…how does that happen? I suppose our time at the ocean might be an excuse…here’s me trying to catch up….
Hi B Long.. I don’t want you to feel like it’s a homework assignment anyway LOL My car is already fixed and I’m driving on a new engine… has just 70 miles on it! LOL even my new cars had more miles than that new off the lot. better to keep an old car these days.. they make em worse all the time
