Yes these times we’ve never had before…the evil has come through and been accepted in so many people who are either weak or ignorant and don’t realize the reality or monumental effects of words and actions. People either follow the path without seeing the outcome has changed or are promised a new life for the future that isn’t what they thought it would be. A conniving devil who infected many with the zeitgeist promise of a new life. Young people don’t believe this cause they don’t have experience and lived long enough to recognize it. The elders do though some are desperate to change their own situation. It’s a pickle in the dessert !

    1. never thought in my younger years I’d be drawn to this music like this! after this year of hateful chaos everywhere this music begins to feel like the calming hand of God.. a controlled strength that feels so unfamiliar

      1. Bryan I can relate so well to where you are. I’m at a place where I am so weary, groaning like the scriptures say, longing for Jesus. I grieve for my younger days when my kids were young, when life was easier, when my health was never a concern. I’m sure you can relate. I feel like he is trying to teach me how to be thankful for things that are hard! I’m trying but it’s not easy. I love it that your own songs are ministering to you! Don’t stop listening to them! He Loves you so much Bryan! You’re gonna be singing throughout eternity! So don’t get discouraged. We get to slip into brand new clothes soon! Ones that won’t wear out, get sick or die! And we won’t need cars up there that can be stolen either. We won’t be floating around in the clouds in Heaven, but will be dancing! and beginning the life we were created for! The life you’ve been singing about and preparing us all for all these years! Get ready! Get ready! Keep watchin and listening for that Trumpet sound friend! Maybe 2026 will be the year!

Didn’t know exactly what you were looking for…I just know I’ve been down this road before…have changed my attitude and have compassion for others and am grateful to others still for the kindness they’ve given me. There’s a pickle in the dessert and a golden ring baked in the cake. Like kings cake! Who knew…there’s a little good in all of us though they work so hard to not show it! A 92 year old woman said she’s just not going to listen to it at all…when it’s over she’ll turn it back on! Pretty cynical but she stays pretty healthy and satisfied with her life now. Nutshellsermons.com…reminds me that was on my Christmas list. 2 lbs of Deluxe mixed nuts. People come in, see the can and ask if they can have some…so for only friends have done it and I’ve said okay. My other fetishizing treats are Dots honey mustard pretzels. Also shortbread wafers. NO CHOCOLATE. Have some peppermint bark haven’t eaten, the good stuff. I’m on a diet too. I eat half my meals cept breakfast. They give us too much to eat on a dinner plate. I used to feel guilty but stopped cause they know what they serve isn’t good for us! There’s some poor little kitties here who Love Any food! I think they’d prefer a big juicy mouse, which is why animal control isn’t called out! It’s so sad seeing them so thin and needy…and I’ll tell you in a nutshell answering your question and topic with this Bryan, is WE ALL NEED! One of my faves

B, I CAN FEEL YA ON THE SENTIMENTS THAT YOU EXPRESS DON’T GET ME WRONG I STILL LOVE MY MUSICAL GUMBO OF JUST ABOUT ANY GENRA R&B ,FUNK SOUL ,POP,ROCK, PROG, REGGAE,JAZZ AND ECT…BUT NOW IT’SO NICE TO HEAR A NICE CLASSICAL PIECE,A GOOD MUSICAL FILM SCORE OR A WELL LYRICED REFLECTIVE GOSPEL SONG DONE WITH STRONG CALMING VOCALS. IT MAKES MY DAY SOMETIMES THESE DAYS . AIN’T IT FUNNY B, YOU AND ME PROBABLY STARTED OUT PLAYING WITH SIMPLE TOYS LIKE MAYBE MULTI-COLORED BLOCKS THAT THRILLED US TO NO END THEN WE GREW UP AND HAVE TO HAVE THE LATEST COMPLEXED GADGETS (BEEPERS, CELL PHONES , WALKMANS ,COMPUTERS)BACK TO ENJOYING SIMPLE THINGS AGAIN ! WE BE LOVING THE MUTI-COLORED BLOCKS AGAIN AND HAVING A BALL WITH THEM !!!

      1. YEAH I CAN REMEMBER MY MAMA PUTTING CLOTHES ON THE CLOTHES LINE IN THE BACK YARD WITH THOSE PINS ! THAT WAS OUR DRYER FOR A WHILE, TODAY I GUESS THAT WOULD BE CALLED GOING GREEN AND LEAVING A SMALL CARBON FOOTPRINT ! WE DIDN’T CARE ABOUT ALL THAT KINDA STUFF WE JUST WANTED THE CLOTHES TO DRY !

  7. Bryan, it’s been refreshing to hear your nutshell sermons and the music. Your music was ringing in my ears back in the late 80s traveling across Europe on a mission trip of sorts. Meant a lot then, and still does. I pray the year ahead will be loaded with more blessings than you can imagine!
