  1. B, I HADN’T HEARD THIS ONE IN A WHILE THANKS FOR THE REWIND ! IT’S AN AMAZING THING WHEN YOU HEAR A OLD SONG THAT YOU LOVED BACK IN THE DAY STILL MAKES YOU FEEL THE JOY YOU HAD THEN AND TO A DEGREE EVEN MORE ! IT MIGHT BE THAT THING LIKE WINE IT GETS EVEN BETTER WITH AGE THEY SAY ! WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU SUNG THAT BABY IN A CONCERT ? ANY CHANCE FOR A IMPROMPTO REQUEST LINE WEEK WHERE YOU SING A FAVORITE REQUESTED SONG OF YOURS 2026 STYLE FOR YOUR NUTSHELLIAN FAMILY ? IT’S SURE TO BE A STANDING ROOM ONLY CROW AND EVEN SOME OUT PAST THE BACK ROW IN THE VESTIBULE !

    1. I never did sing it much.. wasn’t really a spiritually aimed song.. never made an impact early on.. I love it more than any on that record but didn’t feel like it was resonating.. it was pre- divorce for me.. there was about 8 years where I was being held in limbo about my first relationship

      1. Man B, 8 years in limbo like that makes me hurt thinking you had to go through that . I wouldn’t wish that on anybody and I could only hope I would have enough in me to keep the light on for any situation to come out better than what I was going through right then . I do at the end of the day would always hope I would be able to sincerely say I did all I could to try to keep the light on once I understood the situation I was in . MAN its looks to me you tried so hard ! 8 years WOW I don’t know what to say . I think it was just your love trying to hold on to hope for a better day ! Ain’t nothin wrong with that !

      2. Where the heck was I when this came out? Oh, I was moving from Huntington Beach to North Hollywood. A time that I wasn’t following a lot of Christian Music. What a goofy time. What I’m trying to say is that this is one of those songs I would have played over and over and over…GREAT Christian Hits Radio song with a relatable lyric that many of us can dive into, Thanks Bryan!!!

  2. Love that song! Have you ever thought about collaborating with these youngsters today like Forrest Frank or Toby Mac type people? I think it would be really cool. Kinda like Elton John working with Dua Lipa.

    1. don’t know most of the people in CCm and being on the west coast haven’t really rubbed shoulders with artist I knew. no money in it for one thing.. no body I know is makin music the way we used to

  3. Wow!! Dig this track. Listening to it took me back to seasons of innocence and wonder. Which, by the way, have returned again, even better now.

  4. Now Ima hafta listen to the whole ACofALF. I love this track. It’s my favorite album of your beautiful work.
    Thanks for blessing my day!

  5. Hi Bryan, love the saxophone solo and all through the song. Gives it a punch! I don’t think I heard this song before or at least I don’t remember it. Thanks for taking me back to the 70’s/80’s music scene. Too bad they never used it commercially. Would have ended up in a Steven Segal movie.

  6. Thanks for posting this on Facebook. Haven’t heard the album in a long time. I remember wearing out the CD when it came out. I was a volunteer DJ at the local Christian radio station in Pensacola, FL at the time and MC’d concerts. Met you once when I introduced you at a concert we promoted. If I recall correctly, made you laugh when I said something like “direct from club 440,” a reference to the intro of one of my favs, “Lies Upon Lies.” Glad to see you’re still kickin!
