  1. Lots of great memories of you all from those days! I went to many of your gigs, always first class!
I still love the music today!

  2. I don’t have immediate access to my cd’s otherwise I’d check the credits on the first SCB record. Was looking up who played drums on a Paul smith record the other day(again – no access to cd’s or to put it better – too lazy to look through all my boxes of good junk) and it list Jonathan David Brown which surprised me as I thought he was a keyboard player/ producer. Anyway I pulled up wiki and JDB was listed as being involved with Maranatha on your self titled SCB album. it mentioned that and his jail time for harboring an FBI fugitive( and we think we’ve done wrong) JDB seems like he was a talented guy although i am looking forward to your comments on producers (Larry Brown and others) as well as the Chuck Barth connection. But in terms of Jesus Music in the 70’s and SCB – Just imagine how rich you’d be if it were not for the PA expenses…

    1. LOL Larry and Chuck were awesome to work with. our time with JDB was thankfully short.. he got weird pretty fast. I might continue my stories of J N M into the 80’s btw cause SCB was only on our 3 rd project in 1980

  3. Brings back memories of you playing at the university of North Colorado. In the gym no less. What an echo!!
And of course the mini sermon in the middle.

  4. I would love to get you 1st album SCB on CD. I love your Nutshell Sermons. I started listening to Christian Music in 1976, you are almost to that timeframe. That’s when I heard you on the radio singing “I love you with my life”. That song was Jesus singing to me to uplift my spirit when I was in a very dark place. Thank you for writing that song. I am a little ahead of you in your timeline.

  5. Bryan, I love this. I wanna put it on repeat to remind me of things that I didn’t thank God for: the green lights from my house to my daughter’s house, the parking spot near the doors, for our vehicles even when they break down— thankful for our mechanic who fixes them.

    1. I’m most grateful for a shower and clean clothes! makes the world half way decent..
Hi Robbin.. of course I expected to see you eventually here Appreciate you

  6. That was really interesting. It’s good to know the Deep Roots of other people’s Journey’s and success. It let’s you know you’re not alone, and you have similar circumstances. Really cool. And by the way, you told me to request the song Love Takes Time on here. Because I want to play it over the system at church. Again God bless your day!

  7. This one was great Bryan! The Love Song guys were at our house for lunch last week and they were all three very interested in hearing your Nutshell Sermons so you’ll likely be hearing from them soon. BTW….they played sounded great on Two Hands singing in our living room. Keep up the great work brother!!
