  1. So yeah. We get a lot of believers here in Israel that are immediately effect by what’s called “the Jerusalem syndrome” seemingly normal people going just a bit crazy. Some to the extent they’re are sent back to whereever they came from. I’ve definitely seems some strange ones. But the other part of you pastaschio shell, Yes it’s a nut, Is the verse slingers. I don’t so much mind the verse slinging as I do when it’s taken out of context. Take one verse out of context to twist it for the purpose of the whipping of someone else, whereby giving the “holier than thou” impression . I like sitting in the back row with the normal people.

  2. I’m not sure why anyone other than someone with Parkinsons would want Dopamine !. Anyway, who said these guys were God’s friends. I’m sure God can choose His own friends, and likely not to be so superficial. As you know, my favourite quote from Oswald Chambers is that the man ( sexist, of course) who has been through trials, he (ditto) will have time for another in his ( ditto) distress.
I am going through a journey of why God heals some and not others. I know that this world and definitely the “church”, have let go of His hand and, as you iterate, substituted the depth of His word and grace for one-dimensional motivational psychology, peppered with scripture, aka blasphemy. When I find some answers to this riddle, will share.

  3. There are so many stereotypical sides to Christianity like class, professionalism, old school, new born again…they’ve all seemed to consider themselves as The authority of the Bible and ways of God and our Lord Jesus Christ. I’ve found that believing John 3:16 covers the whole basis for Christianity. Oh then of course there’s the group who pays attention to church seating , and I am proud to say I’m on the back row of nutshell sermons…lol
