So glad you are doing these nutshell sermons and reminding me decades gone by with CCM and other music at the time…you mentioned Get Ready many times…sounds so familiar now but there was another song same name by Rare Earth…very cool cause it’s so long! Mainly instrumental and secular but wasn’t hard rock just great song very popular for dancing…now when I hear the name…think about CCM!
we were also aware of “People Get Ready.. there’s a train a comin'”
I love this album…your earlier work is so fresh. ..sounds new…when I was just beginning to love your songs Bryan I decided to learn your voice on̈ past songs and collected albums…Mega 3 was the 1st cause it had 3 with you lead singer…because I started with your solo career and worked back I could recognize your voice ❤️…I fell in love with it! It was so smooth and crisp and loud…you indeed were the lead vocalist!
thanks..and the whole time I felt like I was invisible most of the time..the industry didn’t pay much attention to us at all…
Have you forgotten Quiet Prayers? That’s one of my favorites…if I don’t get to church.

Have you forgotten Quiet Prayers? That’s one of my favorites…if I don’t get to church. Your voice is quiet and spiritual. I think it’s unlike the other albums, very true and wonderful worship ❤️.
all but two songs on quiet prayers were songs I didn’t write .. so not much to say there bout that
Lots to say…
you’re the vocalist Bryan!! And your voice belongs in ⛪️ church or anywhere!
thanks Jane E.. i’ve been kicked outta more churches than bars! LOL
Bryan / love the stories. I remember when this was my first and favorite CCM album. I saw you all in concert several times and the allies with Randy a couple times after here in the Maryland area.
You have one of the most distinctive voices in all of music. And the band was phenomenal. From the outside you guys were my rock stars.
wow.. high praise from our “name sake” Mr Comfort! LOL
