You drove a Pinto? Brave, so brave.

Love these stories. I have heard the story about you living in the garage behind the piano quite a few times haha.
I am wondering if the neighbors heard the loud music and if they liked it or complained haha
I lived in more than one garage btw. first one was Ricks.. it was a studio set up. second one was just my peaceful get away, had an acoustic piano but I was not loud there! LOL my first homeowner garage.. was a studio but no band practice in my solo days
oh and Im retelling the stories cause lot o people are just now finding my podcast
At 72, old school, I don’t listen to podcast but extremely rare.
. certainly not with any regularity. But I for sure enjoy your post on Facebook. And you know I shared a few in my 11 year old Bible group.
Always been my favorite male singer.
So thank you, Sir
And that sense of humor many could learn from……
Nothing like a staunch Christian…..and thankfully you are nothing like a staynch Christian.
God bless you.
thanks fer stoppin by JD.. never thought I’d do podcasting but it supports me a little now.. and I’m bored quickly too so the segments are short
The beginning. I think we all moved to California broke…lol. “…Good to look back to see how far we’ve come..” True words my friend.
and now we’ve reached the age where we can make our stories more dramatic than they were! LOL
Thanks for the memories Bryan…I remember hearing an interview about your beginning with SCB…it’s always a pleasure to hear your stories and your great attitude and perseverance…you give such happy and positive recollection!
feel like I’m tellin these too much lately.. still wanna make new stories while I can
I’m thinking you went to SCC so did I until I left to pursue music also but from the Soundman/Road mgr track. Love your stories. how about stories about playing the 80s music Jesus fests? Cornerstone,Creation feat, Jesus northwest etc???

I am thankful that you guys came together. Some really good music over the years. I’ve always been partial to that first one though. Still my go to album
Yer Elfin!!! Hel? I just made that connection!
Sweet comfort was my favorite band when I was in HS! So cool to hear how you started and of all the big names that were a part of it. I will miss Keith green- he was also great-
Hi Donna Thanks for checkin in! Stay tuned here under “Jesus N Music” I’m going to cover the records and tours we did till all the way to the end
I love the stories! It’s cool to hear how God puts things together! I got my first SCB music as a small blue 45 that was included with another vinyl album that I had bought as a teen. I played it a lot!
It was so different than any other Christian music at the time and my ears perked up at all the cool jazz chords and smooth, soulful vocals I was hearing! Saw you guys in concert several times. I do remember your bass player’s ‘re-telling’ of Bible events-very funny!!
Anyway, great stuff, God bless you
Nice to hear from you Connie.. and Yay Jazz Chords!!! LOL CCM industry didn’t like those too much! glad you did. I’m telling all the stories of SCB thru all the projects and tour stuff.. going forward.. stay tuned once a week under “jesus N Music”
I don’t underestimate for one moment, the backlash that must have battled the support in those days. All you long-haired Jesus-freaks….playing a whole new kind of music, and paving the way for all the Christian artists to follow. Thank you for not giving up (as your says 😉 ) .
Hi Anna, and now its time to play out that conviction that we never lost
