Jesus N Music Auditions
In 1973 I would audition to play solo at the Calvary Chapel “Tent”. And later that year, meet my future band mates who would audition for me.

Bryan, I love listening to your stories. Thank you for opening up a window into your world. More, please!

Thanks for sharing not only your testimony but the beginnings of SCB! That is what I grew up on as a teenager in 1977!

I love your honesty in your stories of your history.
Hi Julie thanks for sayin… always need the encouragement about my new directions on a podcast
We just listened to this one……so many great moments you described that both Virgil and I relate to and loved hearing! I’m still close friends with Perry Morgan, an original “disciple” with Andrae. We are in touch weekly and I’ll try to have him listen to these podcasts!
Hi Kim.. give Virgil my respect.. early on I wasn’t sure who all was in the band.. but they were the best.
Wonderful! Would have loved to have seen you with the paisley, puffy sleeved shirt and platform shoes. My favorite pair of platform shoes that I wore, had a pin in the side that when pulled, roller skates dropped down. Lol
Hi Mary, LOL mine wear black and grey two tone, the grey part was velvet ROFL and crushed velvet ties were a thing too…
Went to a Baptist school junior high, for a few years. By that time you were coming out to greeley Colorado to play, we had bell bottoms and rainbow suspenders. Now those rainbow suspenders stand for something else.
yea.. LGBTQ pretty much ruined the rainbow.. now I wince everytime I see one
That was fun story to hear! Oh the memories of that era including the clothes! Lol
so good to see you on here Cary… I was at Packinghouse yesterday playin reconnected with several from those days including musicians and people I worked with back in Sweet C Days!
