I’m not an expert at giving and receiving either. And I know exactly how you feel. But here lately, I’ve decided to start sowing again. Simply because I wanted too, and I know the scriptures bear it out. And.I felt better about it, and I know we can’t go by feelings. So I’ve got at least part of the first step done, now I have to work on receiving my blessing. Alot of it I don’t understand.
Hi BSHAW! I’ve only recently witnessed my own surprise at blessings coming back that I completely forgot about. Like people supportin me now that remember my early career days 50 years ago

Wow B, you didn’t GO THERE, did you? I think the questions should be given to the THEY! Yeah, the ones who said that you would be blessed! We know that GOD does bless in lots of ways every day and shouldn’t the Creator of all things be the only one to choose the kind of blessing he gives? We Always gonna be tilted I guess to wanting a blessing to come the way we want but what I question is any group that goes beyond their pay grade and start saying if you give this much moolah you gonna be blessed with this much moolah or should be ! Where explicitly is that in scripture I can’t find that verse nowhere! There are certain scriptures that do point if you do this you will be blessed but the cash aspect part specifically, I haven’t seen that word for word yet. Although I can say personally God did bless me in that fashion sometimes and I Did contribute to a ministerial org so I will never say it can’t happen but It’s always GOD who chooses to, not any of us doing anything that obligates Him to do it ! You come up with some good insights when you question stuff about who’s really profiting sometimes. Always remembering to decern our own true motives for giving and definitely discern the intent of those telling you if you do this you will get that because in some cases those not on the up and up will make merchandise of you !
