  1. “seeing another sheep’s backside” I love that comment, sometimes that’s all we have to focus on in life

  2. What’s that song? “I never promised you a rose garden.. ” good days and bad days. That’s was a prayer of a glass half empty. Sometimes there’s more of one than the other… but I was recently reminded, everyday above ground is a good day.

  3. I’ve been looking for those green pastures for a long time, but it’s hard to find them when you live in a desert.
Not to mention the fact that anything green tends to make me sneeze.
When do we get off this rock? Must’ve been a sight to see before sin screwed it all up.

  4. And again, I know how you feeling my friend. Such a valid point . So, I pray in the mornings for the Lord to help me be at the right place at the right time by his grace and then just try to follow and be sensitive to the Lord’s voice. And enjoy Grace for today, and favor for today and then just thank the Lord for his goodness on my life today and my family in Jesus name. Because I know that whatever God has for me it’s great.!! I try to keep it that simple , Besides, what else can we do.

  5. I used to have lunch with J Vernon McGee (well, listening to him on Through the Bible Radio) during college. That you mentioned “the new open door” in the last few seconds of this podcast is proof positive they are good to the last drop. One of my favorite quotes of his is: “Let me remind you that this is God’s universe, and He is doing things His way. You may think you have a better way, but you don’t have a universe to rule.”.

    1. Hey Ray! good to hear from ya.. they still play J Vernon.. something so ‘stake in the ground’ about his old school Bible studies! thanks for resonating with my new school approach.
