  1. Amen my Brother! Totally enjoyed Praising God last night with you in Grove City. My husband, Rob, loved the video, that was kind! Blessing to you and your continued ministry. Fellow Lunatic Friend✝️

    1. So nice to hear from you. And that especially you’re listening to Nutshellsermons! Means a lot. I told my wife about meeting you and what Rob is going thru. we understand ‘episodes’ of another kind with medications!

  2. I volunteered As a board member for a nonprofit that provided financial assistance. It was a real challenge to figure out who really needed help and who was there for a handout. We believed it better to teach someone how to fish rather than providing free fish. In the end we could only ask God for wisdom. I have zero patience for religious organizations or nonprofits that pocket more than they give out.
I think there’s a special place in hell for those that mislead and steal in the name of God….
At the same time, people need to wake up and do a bit of research prior to opening the wallet… we’ve all fallin’ for it. Once bitten twice shy..

  3. Oh, yes. I am really careful where I give. There is so much tragedy in the world and decent people such as Save the Children and MSF who put donations to good use with their selfless voluteers. A certain Big Church Corporation from my country, gone internation with financial corruption, is now in the spotllight with a few documentaries on their extraordinary largess and swindling. Not exactly WWJD. However, there is still the story of the Good Samaritin, someone who gave of what little they had for a guy they stumbled across.

  4. Good one Yeah left hand right hand. I remember this old guy that lived in a old 6×8 tin shed for like a year or so, stingy ole geezer, but when he was younger he said he gave eagerly and freely. He raised his family and his wife died and one thing led to another he ended up alone there, guess sowing and reaping is an unavoidable law. I tried to help him out but didn’t wanna embarrass him so I didn’t tell anyone else about him. Guess he was a fan of yours when he was younger too. Well anyway it just reminded me giving treasure is ok and giving talent is often useful but giving time is probably the best.

  5. Another good Nutshell sermon. I like them because you say what I’m thinking.
Glad to hear your back in town, can’t wait to share stories with ya!
