  1. I don’t like all the “new” things, cuz I’ve barely figured out how to use the old things. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but I think it’s less about what you can teach the old dog rather than what he actually wants to learn. You’re a decade ahead of me, but I’m not too far behind.

  2. I’m a few months from 6 decades. Seems to me the new just doesn’t last as long as the old stuff. There was a Ford commercial when I was a kid, Ford tough you can hand it down to your grandchildren. Now it’s swap it out every few years. Waste not, want not.
We don’t know how to be still, and appreciate what we have, and work with what we’re given. I’m all about saying thank you, and doing the best I can. Fail a lot, but that’s ok too.
Kinda like the king james version (new edition)….

  3. This one is full of good tidbits and a couple of times laughing out loud. Free Meth that was funny. Reminds me of a church we pass quite often Free Will Baptist….does that mean we can do anything we want to? And what did Solomon say? “There’s nothing new under the sun”. We just think it’s new. I’m thankful that God’s plan of salvation hasn’t changed, I don’t keep up real well with new stuff. Keep shining!

    1. glad you laughed.. whats happening in some denominations is just down right sad. Methodist church is imploding right now with new changes.. hence my joke! but I do like the Free Will thang.. baptist churches aren’t doing well either
