Yeah taking verses out of context so that they fit the situation better is a long time practice in Christianity. All of the Talmud is figuring out loopholes and add ing commands to fit the situation. Its called organized religion.

I know what you mean by loopholes. I think I’ve been avoiding certain scriptures for decades, and then I have a tendency to interpret it a different way and then back to reality it is. And then I wonder why things don’t change for the better . So you’re stuck lol that’s a nut shell from your 26th freind
