  1. This is very good. Only you can bring the humor out of the wilderness tour. Lol
I am very grateful Jesus came and was our Sacrifice. I couldn’t slaughter an animal to atone for myself especially not over and over.
Moses breaking all the commandments at once, reminds me there’s always hope for us. Haha. Sad how quickly Aaron and the people turned to idols…though we can quickly screw up also. Aaron’s excuse that the golden calf just popped out of the fire by itself is classic as in proving how much we all need Jesus because we are all always trying to excuse our sins. Thank God Jesus came!!!

  2. “I threw their gold into the fire and out came this golden calf.” Sounded a lot like me telling my mom back in the day, “No mom, I haven’t been smoking. The other kids held me down and blew smoke in my face.”
That story has always made me laugh.
Another home run sir. Thanks for sharing and making me laugh.

    1. LOL.. I have similar stories.. my kids too, my son had chocolate all over his face.. standing in the hallway.. and I said “have you been into the chocolate cake” and he say … NOoooo. LOL

  3. And then there is the time where my daughters played with the face paints when they weren’t supposed to. And I took a Polaroid of them. They looked at the picture and I asked if they played in the face paint, and they both said no again…and again and again. Not honoring their mother and father.
Waiting and waiting. Sometimes even my microwave is way too long. And 4-6 weeks does feel like 46 weeks.
It’s amazing to me that it doesn’t take long for our impatience to turn to sin in some cases.
My grandson is always in a hurry and he says he doesn’t have time to do anything because he has other more important things to do. He’s 9 and he complains he doesn’t have enough time for homework, which only takes 5 minutes actually. It’s just funny to hear his logic sometimes.
I’m glad these sermons are only about 2 minutes or so long. Don’t know if I could go any longer. And, of course, you know I am so kidding. Love listening to your voice and these are really fun to listen to. Thanks for the time you take to get these all done.

  4. LoL, So for the past 30 years I’ve heard that story told many ways, but that was definitely different! Working in Israeli hi-tech which is hi energy, and dealing with government stuff. I’ve learned to cherish solitude and quiet. For my family of 4, we came together during the pandemic. Was an unexpected blessing. Then the hurry up and wait concept in the military.. Patience is hard to learn. Biggest mistake is praying for patience. You’ll find yourself in all kinds of trying situations… the Eagles wrote a song: “Learn to be still” don’t have to agree with all the lyrics, but the message is clear…..

    1. I’ll have to look up that Eagles tune never heard of it… thanks though. still prayin for Israel’s defense.. I’m grieved to see so many marchers in the streets supporting hamas too

  5. Some of my favorite moments from this one are Moses breaking all the commands at one time, the 46 weeks, don’t make an idol while you’re idle, and Aaron’s ‘woops, not sure how that got there. ‘ This is a particularly good one, Bryan.

  6. K.O.!
You threw so many poignant punches and one-liners, ima gonna have to listen to the instant-replay to catch all the action again!
