Do I Say Goodbye Demo Version

Do I Say Goodbye Demo Version

a Replay of the demo version we wrote five years ago for the Reagan movie, Missing a guitar solo in this version and mostly computer generated music and live piano played by James Raymond (pictured above). Approached the song as background music. The Full Band recording will be coming. I will post it soon as I have it!

  1. I work at Home Depot, so when my lunch break happens , I go to my car to get away from the insanity and craziness and have lunch with my Lunatic Friend.

  2. Such a beautiful song. Great lyrics and music and smooth vocals go so well together.
Fits perfect with Reagan movie. I miss Reagan wish he was still here

  3. On my second listen of this track and I’m really loving it. Seems like a departure from the soulful style that you’re known for. Like you mentioned, more electronic, but it works really well with your voice.

If you don’t mind, I’d love a copy of the mp3. I’m really looking forward to final with guitar. Who will be playing guitars on it?

    1. I remember you from Twitter this morning NK! .. sendin to yer email in a minute. Guitarist is Randy Thomas from my old Sweet Comfort Band. Also there are some acoustic riffs in what I heard before I left.. done by James Raymond. thanks for checking in.. don’t be a stranger.

      1. Cool! Got it! And that makes sense with Randy Thomas on guitar with the whole Sweet Comfort Band connection (I think he did worth with Bob Carlisle as well as a multitude of other people I’m sure!) Everything is interconnected in the music world! I geek out on album credits – something you don’t get any more with streaming. I pretty much had every studio musician memorize from reading the liner notes on every tape or CD I owned!

  4. Wow! I love this! I am waaaayyyy behind on listening to your nutty sermons, I mean nutshell sermons, but I’m going to try to catch up! I’m always blessed when I listen. Thanks, Bryan!

    1. Hey Hutch sure miss ya around kickoff! good to hear from ya.. not sure when I’ll hear it but yep I’ll send it when I got it.. I can send ya this one too if ya want

  5. Can’t wait for the full band version! This is really good (always love your stacked vocals) but the final version is gonna be epic!

    1. 4 E’s! how ya doin.. heard from you twice in one week! you must be pretty healthy these days LOL .. You’ll be on the list when I have the track.. pray there’s no hangups!

  6. Very impressive. We saw the movie and loved it. I’m so happy your song is being used. Blessings on y’all.

  7. This is a beautiful track. Was waiting for the classic BD high notes and signature sounds and it didn’t disappoint. Excited to hear the finished track. Well done!

  8. Good vibes on this. This should be the closer, it sounds like someone ready to walk away without regrets. Well done (and you sound great).

  9. AHH, hands behind my head with fingers interlocked while I’m reclined in my lazy boy chair listening to your new song through my big screen tv. Half way through a smile comes across my face and I say to myself, B done done it again how does he keep coming up with these wonderful songs and if this is the demo I didn’t get the memo it sounded great ! Of course B you know I gotta have it when it’s ready .
