Poignant piece. Thank you for sharing and pouring these words on the page. I am praying for Dr. Danita Bagwell.
Thanks for your prayers for her.. due to government bureaucracy they won’t let her have enuff pain medication to keep her comfortable.. even tho it is a terminal diagnosis
Good answered my prayer. You’re still there !
thanks for hangin around .. here’s to a new year too
I have always loved this song! It hits that one little feeling, down deep in the soul. This song speaks more than you realize, to countless souls. I’m not sure this makes sense, but this is an absolutely beautiful song.
Hi Nikki, amazing to hear.. when I was writing it I had very little real experience with uncommon pain
Bryan this song takes me back to the year it was released… such a great song, wow! If you have time to drop me a note, I’d love to hear more of the story about the song and what you were thinking as you wrote it. Still battling MS
Hi Sharon, not really a long story.. I Was simply aware of all that did not change with a miracle.. starting with the condition of SIN itself. I made it sound like watching a terminal patient.. never knew so many until lately…
I believe
wishing you many many blessings in 2025 as you keep blessing us in your back pew ❤️
thanks LL! for bein here all this time.. Happy New Year TOO
I will pray for her.
Another dynamic album that rocked my world. I could not believe the power of your creations. I particularly love this one as you can imagine.
you’d love Dr Danita Bagwell.. US Air Force surgeon.. retired she was planning to do “Doctors Without Borders” when she was diagnosed with MSA.. Thanks for your prayer for her… pain meds are the main traffic jam because of opiod laws .. that don’t take into account those with terminal afflictions
Sounds like some of your states are much stricter than over here. Also may be a backlash to the Oxycontin debarcle.
oh yea.. government over reach!
Just as an insight from another on the back row, I am learning the healing has something to do with pressing in and understanding what the will and processes are of Jesus. I have realised I have not spent enough time and effort doing that.
that’s my prayer for the new year.. more faith in the power of my own prayers for others
Amen to that.
tear’d up the other day on this!
I was diagnosed with MSA in 2018 with the words, “The only advice I can offer you is to get your affairs in order.” How awesome of you to put the name of this illness in print so that more people will become aware. It is constant work, but I have some wonderful doctors. There is more hope and research in the last year due to MSA and PSP being acknowledged as atypical Parkinsonism disorders. This fight has also provided me the opportunity to have the discussion with my doctors and nurses about how to live and die with a terminal illness. God is good! Thank you for the beautiful song that has so much meaning. (BTW- we have a mutual friend- DM- who also has been fighting with his illness for a long time.)
Oh My, thanks for sharing! I will share this with Danita, I call her Lucy cause some of her family calls her that. There may be a divine purpose in that I met Lucy 3 years ago at least, and felt powerfully compelled to keep in touch with her specifically. And me with no experience in your kind of suffering. felt dumbfounded that I had no real advice that didn’t sound like cut and paste answers. I know you are going to be an encouragment to Danita as well. Her nurses have to contact me most of the time now, but she has typed some of her own messages.. Thank you for being here. hang around if you will I’d love to get updates from you. I will send you this song via email.
