1st post overall after listening to a dozen of these since last night (Church of God [Cleveland, TN] P.K. here). I have listened to God’s music through you and your band(s) on cassette & CD since my mid-teens. Only later caught up on SCB and then enjoyed the NehoSoul time. I have been re-listening to the NehoSoul Christmas CD the past 2 days which led to a YouTube search which led to finding these nutshells. I will be passing the word along! I heard those artists and songs… they were big difference between pop and semifolk. The Eve of Destruction struck a note around the world from the Vietnam War. These 2 artists were great at writing songs that reached protests…theirs were about the state of affairs of the world leaders…yours is about finding peace through the Bible and Jesus Word…all of you sing to the multitude who wish things would change..cause I can’t change you and I wish someone would. Lol
it would be a rare thing to see conversions of more visibly notable artists, come to salvation.. funny in our creative exploration we often to find the original creator

Loving these stories. I had the pleasure of seeing Barry MacGuire when he first became a Christian. He is funny! I can only imagine the things that you two came up with. Never saw BJ Thomas but not for lack of trying. His voice had such a rich tone. I remember when Cornerstone, a newspaper put out by JPUSA in Chicago did an interview with him about his testimony. I’m surprised he made it through. I’ve been blessed with being able to keep up with you, Phil Keaggy and Paul Clark (who helped me understand something God bless him) These stories mean alot
