Got word today of Chuck Girard’s passing. Singer Songwriter for the Jesus Music Band that inspired me most. LOVE SONG. This song made me leave the east coast at 19 and drive to California. Just to be where that kind of “Jesus music” started.

Ah. I got saved in 1977 and loved Chuck Girard‘s music and passion for Jesus.
He came to a music conference in Seattle that I attended. He was so transparent and genuine. I loved hearing him share and sing in a small songwriting session. He shared about the heart and our relationship with Jesus first and foremost. Sad to hear of his passing. We all want to finish well and hear Jesus say well done. Enter into your rest.

What a beautiful worship ♥️ song…there’s obviously ministry involved as the group dedicated ❤️ for Jesus…it’s also obviously the best CCM beginning ❤️.

Chuck Girard another legend of CCM will definitely be missed…he’s a leader of the Jesus movement and help revolutionized spiritual music ….
His music still inspires us, especially my husband, he can’t listen without crying . Everytime. He will be so missed. Thank you Chuck for sharing your heart with us all.
