i guess it happens to everyone bryan im getting on up there in age too 56 n feel it aswell not fun i dred life when i get 70 hehe homebound but im noteating no applesauce lol
70’s have challenges like all decades but we’re still here.. so..
Wow Bryan…right on target again…today my therapist she couldn’t believe I’m 72!…said I’m the baby…just the opposite when I started college at 42… grown my hair long both times only a different color…the registrar asked if I was student or faculty and I was wearing a mini which I thought was the dress code…then the forbidden shockaroo….politely called ma’am…wow I’ll never forget that first day!…my best friend now is 57 and her husband is retired…let me tell you Bryan I think the important thing to do is keep the mouth shut! And I am the baby here now but I’ve got that gray wisdom hair long as before and think it shows great phenomena not wisdom…who knew?
mouth shut? an ambitious goal! LOL
Bryan you are so personable and genuine ❤️ the smile in little Cash’s eyes as he looks up at you is so priceless! It gives nutshellsermons infinite support right there my special friend…
he’s mellower than any of my granddaughters btw
So yeah I’m also starting to feel like the old guy in the room. Just started a new tech job. Most of the guys are 20 years younger than I am. Theres a couple in their early 50s, but still makes me feel old. Wisdom is great, but the only problem is, with wisdom you start to run out of excuses for doing something stupid. Can’t claim ignorance….
LOL there’s a nutshell.. with wisdom comes no more excuses! LOL
I love those Isaiah verses. God cares for us even when when nobody else wants to. I’ve certainly been feeling the toll of age lately. Just getting closer to my real home I hope. Thanks again for the nutshells, they are a blessing!
I was inspired today.. and right in the face of all the crummy news… cause “I’ll always Have Jesus”! LOL heard bout a couple more o my old friends who’ve been “Stop Believers” lately
Oh yes, Brother Bryan! Instead of saying “Get off my lawn!”, I say to 20 somethings lawn care folks “Do you have to mow right after a rainstorm?”. Or my nephews. I try to be the cool uncle, however I almost go into default mode of my father and my grandfather, like a drill instructor on toys scattered on the floor. (Look out for the Legos!)
I was talking to a friend and she even said: “This isn’t my home.” And saying goodbye to my dad and my furry niece. And I can’t wait for the party and the Host With The Most! God bless you and your family!
no one gets on my lawn now.. its gravel like they do yards in Arizona
