Yeah personal opinion here, I think the word love gets used a bit to lightly. I wonder if we confuse love with euphoria in the moment. I’m so motivated to do absolutely nothing! LoL.
Today’s Nutshell struck a nerve with me. As of around 1968 -69 l met a lady (#2) she had two daughters ages 1 & 2. I she was quit and a bit shy. we dated for a while and then she introduced to her two daughters. They were two and three. I couldn’t believe how beautiful they were. I was a baby Christian then. I thought how can l make this work. Unfortunately there Father had passed. I wasn’t sure l was ready to take on an instant Family. I was falling in Love. Two girls needed a father. We were together for years. Bought a house and we raised them this situation went on for years. I loved them as l would my own.
sounds like a similar story to my own.. when I married again, I ‘inherited’ her two daughters. they were 10 & 12 roughly.. 20 years later they are my daughters. no bloodline needed.
