Dear God… Where’s the blessing?
My prayers are not meant to be simply cynical but rather to show the honesty we’re afraid to admit.. I will post these audio reads from my book “Prayers You Won’t Hear In Church” .. the book is out of print now, maybe due to a disinterest in sarcasm in Christian circles. In my opinion sarcasm is simply an acknowledgement that there is always more than one side to a story.

Preach!! I was at CBN back in the sixties…( think child star) back when Jim and Tammy had their puppet show and Pat R hadn’t run for president yet. The things you see through a child’s eyes and disseminate through an adult gray matter … can leave you weary…
I was there too.. my folks worked for Jim n Tammy just before they self destructed. they almost couldn’t get a job after that.. ‘guilty by association’
I really don’t like to remember those days…lol
