My daughter ate pollywogs or at least the shedded part. I see her crawling around and I’d look at her mouth and there was this stuff hanging all over it. Almost made me throw up.
I can relate to this. I honestly never expected to make it to this age. Did some really dumb and unsafe things over the years. It is good to hear I am not the only one who has these thoughts and feelings. Thank you for doing these.
HI Russ, I got your support on Cash App. I hate that I can’t leave a message on that app.. so glad you stop by the comments. Appreciate you more than you know
Wow ! I work in hi-tech. The stuff I learned and computer systems I learned on are now on display at the Smithsonian. Finding it very hard to stay relevant and to keep up with the younger generation. While their minds are like sponges, the one thing that still make us valuable is life lessons. Occasionally they need us to present the bigger picture. . That’s the only thing that keeps me pushing forward. Life lessons, with God’s help maybe we can spare the younger generation some heartache
LOL… yes I’ve seen toys I played with as a kid that are in a museum LOL. I’ve never had a kid ask me for advice ever! so maybe I’m hear just to say “I told ya so” LOL I have some recently new friends over in Israel btw. Dr. Danita Bagwell has family over there. they lost there house and business in the early fighting. Hope you’re out of range!
I told ya so, is wisdom in itself. LOL! Sorry to hear about Danita and family. Really sucks. We’re in the north western Galilee, so not so bad here.. a lot of villages around us have been evacuated. Hoping all will return home soon.
I’m encouraged this week to see that 3 university presidents are getting some blow back for supporting Hamas as well as those who are tearing down posters of the kidnapped
Yep, the kids don’t want to hear anything from us because they already know everything there is to know, and this is MY kids too! In all fairness, I was that way with my parents and elders too… forgive me Lord.
There may be something to the whole relevance thing. Things have changed so much in our lifetime and so quickly too. There are things my firstborn experienced that my third born knows nothing about, let alone what it was like when we were growing up….Another thought “lead by example” doesn’t always work…
Oh and don’t get me started on today’s music….
I liked this prayer alot!

Yep the youth today are not too bright. But of course we did some pretty stupid stuff too. But I never ate Tide pods.
