  1. This song says it all. I can relate being a grandparent to 5.
“Watch me” “look what I can do” and “can you do this” are all sweet reminders of being a papa!

    1. I think getting sentimental in my older years is creating a different kind of song writing. if you hear Print of A Baby’s Hand and Christmas Card on here you’ll hear it too.. go back to last Dec.on here you’ll find those songs

  2. Brings back memories of my daughters when they were little. And now with the three grandkids who just keep growing so fast, all the things they’re learning and doing… Life just goes by so fast. Thanks for making me cry.

  3. Bryan I love the song! Wow! Made me think of my kids and how in a blink of an eye they grew up
Got a chuckle out of you talking about our junk! I have the glue from the lost glue gun in my junk drawer too! I remember several years ago I was in my basement overwhelmed and stressed because of being somewhat of a hoarder and the guilt and shame I felt with all the mess. I then heard that still small voice tell me that it was ok, because these things, like our memories were blessings and a part of our lives and my children’s.
One of the dumbest things I did though was after the first radio station I worked for got bought out I had a lot of great Christian music records that I put in my basement that eventually all warped! I’ve never gotten over that

    1. THanks for sharing Sherry..thanks for you comments on NS too.
I have those feelings all the time when I’m standing in my garage, and I have old records here with nothin to play em on too.. even if they are in good shape

  4. Loved this song. I wish my late wife Melody could have heard you sing this song. She was a long time fan since SCB❤️

  5. Well, Bryan, you’ve done it again….made me smile big with tears falling….thank you so much for sharing something I’ll never know, and that’s the joy of being a Granny. Your song reminds me of when my boys would play He Man and Skeletor and they would say, “Hey, Mommy! Watch!”
Not to worry Bryan. Your babies will remember, and when they do, they will be smiling through tears while whispering, “Thank You God.” Amen

    1. Hi Dee, I should tell you that my grand daughters are all from my second wife’s daughters.. they’re not blood related. But it has never felt that way. whomever is in your life is in your life and that’s the truth. Thanks for your sentiment on my song. means a lot to me..

  6. Don’t know how you do it. I have sang songs in front of people for people I love and always end up a blubbering idiot in front of everyone. I’m waiting for our kids to finally get married and give us grand kids. Don’t know what they’re waiting for. Bryan enjoy every moment…

    1. let me tell ya, my sons were in their late 30’s and not even married, My daughters are both younger. I wasn’t holding my breath to see GK’s.. but man when it starts it sure doesn’t let up! for me just a complete surprise I never saw comin’

  7. Wow. Had an interesting week starting with the goal or sense to be more present with my 27 year old daughter. By way of background, she’s in a masters program locally while living at home. Like many young adults, she’s home and back out again at work, church, school, friends, and boy friend. So again, I wanted to savor the time she was around an be more intentional to make connections where we could.

We did that a few times during the week and midweek listened to this demo while on a drive out of town. Wow, those lyrics brought back gymnastics, swim, girl scouts, trips and all sorts of day to day memories from her 27 years.

Capping the week off, last night she got engaged to the guy any daughter’s father prays for. We all have lyrics and tunes over the years that weave themselves into the growing soundtrack of our lives. I’m personally grateful to add this to the memories and storyline.

I’m blessed and thankful you released this at just the right time. Thanks, friend!

    1. HI Ray just messaged you on Venmo..thanks here and there! .. actually that’s a demo of the song. its not an official release .. not sure it ever will be.. but I still have good songs and I want my inner circle o friends to hear em.. that would be you too.. when I wrote this it was a 3 year old Grandbaby.. she turned five this week.. they’re gone in a heartbeat! glad the imagery leaves room for longer memories! thanks Ray and props to your daughter!

  8. That’s a tear jerker for sure…I knew it would be. We only have one grand and she lives a ways away…We feel like we are missing so much…someday…heaven…
