If you’re doubting your dollars and your faith is faltering for your fiscal future, then you’re in need of a Biblical monetary makeover eh?
I highly recommend you check out this Canadian wise guy, Tom Copland, who teaches how to manage your finances based on Biblical principles.
God’s Word, the Bible, has incredible wisdom in the area of finances. Did you know that there are 2,350 references in the Bible to money and material things?
God provides us with wisdom in all areas of finances including debt, budgeting, investing, counsel, stewardship, priorities, giving, cosigning, obtaining God’s peace, and providing a distinction between worldly attitudes as opposed to Godly attitudes with respect to money.
Tom’s approach is similar to the American money ministers, Larry Burkett or Ron Blue, but not as flamboyant as that Dave Ramsey fella!
If yer frightened by failing finances, take a gander at Copland Financial Ministries on the internet eh!
Thanks for the insights… this is a great list of the new Apostle’s that would also include Joel Osteen, and Kenneth Copeland..so we’re half way to the new twelve!
Heh my friend, the Lord will always meet your needs but not necessarily your wants unless they’re already aligned with His purposes and plans.
Don’t even think of putting Tom in the same stinking thinking sinking boat as Ostentatious Osteen eh!?
Tom’s fiscal focus is fixated on God as the Ultimate Provider and our responsibility to be good stewards of all His Provisions lovingly shared with us.
Most of the wealth management wisdom on the Copland website are graciously shared for free.
Tom doesn’t shill for shekels like some other Profits Prophets who are poor portrayers of Christ-centred faithful finances.
Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold.
Take my intellect and use every power as thou shalt choose, every power as thou shalt choose.
clearly I misunderstood your commentary assuming sarcasm .. not familiar wiht Tom frankly.. I’ve played at Osteens church and too done a gig in Hawaii with Copeland. I wasn’t resonating.
Lines from a play, “How much money do you need?” “Just a little bit more” Ain’t that the way most people feel no matter how much or little they have of things. What I need is just a little bit more faith to trust through all things.
And, with just a little bit more height I could reach the middle shelf of my kitchen cabinets, lol. Course if I was a glass half full person I would say at my height it is easier to pick things up off the floor. Sorry
I was on the board of a non-prophet specifically to help believers. It was always our intend to give fishing lessons. Problem is no one is interested in working for their food. Fast food joints have taken over. So I believe there’s still a lot of fish to caught, I think we’re just casting our nets in the wrong places. I think there’s all kinds of underlying means in my comment, but you’ll have to fish them out!! LoL
