  1. Have thought all these things also. The devil uses whatever he can to taunt us tword obsessive worship, idolatry, covetousness. That fake gold path to destruction. Witchcraft in its highest form. Looks glamous, but like Ozz, the city is hellfire and demons. Remember, he was beautiful.

    1. Hi Carol! I believe this is the first time I’ve seen a comment from you. Thanks so much. Looks like very few have had much to say about my ‘suspicions’. I don’t have any demonic thoughts about TS, but her recent story makes me feel like too good to be true. Prolly comes with overall doubt about what to believe in any direction. I refuse to go off track with hearsay, theories and such.. trust God and try to be wise. thanks for commenting

      1. Cracks me up that you would bring up Taylor Swift. I got so tired of hearing about her that I stopped watching Chiefs games until the Super Bowl. She was everywhere and she’s even here? So funny.

        I used to pray that people would fail, especially when they were getting so much stuff or notoriety, the ones that I didn’t like too much. It might have been because of their personality or some of the things they said that were hateful or racist. And then I remember that God loves them, too. Got to pray a little different then.

        Jealousy is pretty bad because then that’s your focus instead of the Lord. When someone gets what I wanted, I did become jealous, then just realized that God has given me everything I need. Sometimes he’ll give me what I want, but he’s always taking care of me and my family.

  3. Yes, you’re right, like Faustus, people do sell their souls for success.
    She has just been to Australia, highest numbers ever for her in a concert in Melbourne. At least the lyrics are innocent and her dress and dance is something I would be happy for a teenager to see. I have seen a lot worse and I worry about some of the performances of other artists who are really sexualising young people and role models of perdition.
    And yes, faith needs to be sight, away from the spectacles of the workd.
    But also, I know He has plans for you to prosper and be fulfilled.

  4. Yeah I actually didn’t care about Kelce and Taylor. But definitely some marketing genius had their hands all over that. Regarding Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston etc, wealth doesn’t fill the emptiness, just makes the person lonelier. We take out of the world what we came in to it. Nothin. What matters is what we leave behind…all the rest is just noise.

    I’ve been pondering this nutshell and my squirrel mind is trying to go in too many different directions eh?

    The Devil tried to tempt Jesus by offering Him all the world has to offer. But it wasn’t the Devils’ place to offer since Jesus was God in the flesh and it always was God’s from the beginning.

    However the Devil didn’t give up on trying to trick the rest of Humanity. Frank Sinatra sang the de facto American National Anthem, “I did it my way”. Styx looked behind the curtain to see the “Grand Illusion”. Kansas figured that we’re all just “Dust in the Wind”.

    It’s (the Devil’s wiles) all pretty discouraging unless you have faith for today and bright hope for tomorrow. Great is His Faithfulness unto me & you! It will be well with your soul if you dwell on this Jim Reeves gospel song that’s sustained me through the triumphs and trials of life.

    I’m sure glad I’m not the only one who feels this way.
    TS way overrated. I mean, have you heard her “sing”?
    The thing that gets me is that folks will often quote, “if My people, who are called by My Name will humble themselves, etc., etc., but then they don’t even stop to think that the greatest of the 10 commandments is, Though shalt have no other gods before Me. God hates idolatry. I do too. In fact, I have never ever seen even one episode of American Idol, specifically bc of the title.
    What gets me even more is that you don’t seem to get it that you are a diamond in the rough, Bryan. A true gem.
    Go give your album A.C.O.A L. F. a listen, and you’ll see what I mean. Thanks for being you, and for these nutshell’s.

  7. You know it never dawned on me about things happening because of Taylor Swift and the Super Bowl and stuff like that. But now that you mentioned it you got a really strong point there. Of course, I’ve been saying all along that I felt like you was called the preaching that’s exactly what you’re doing just in a different way here on that show sermons. You doing a great job at it my friend. Wouldn’t surprise me if it would go viral. Especially hey God really and prayers you don’t hear in church. So different yet so true.

Hi Bryan , I’ve just listened to your NS and loved it , don’t know why but I’ve never gotten into TS don’t think she’s that great a singer and agree she’s getting money thrown at her and treated like she’s a God, alot say say she’s in the illuminati along with Beyonce and Madonna etc which can’t be good could it I’m just glad I have you to listen to , thank you , sending love from Australia

  11. I am thankful God reigns above the nations. Also thankful you decided to sing for Jesus. When you mention ‘real music’ I remember telling my wifey “I’m not doing clubs anymore for the sake of our daughter.” Didn’t want to hear “if Dad can do it so can I.” Love you brother (we enjoyed hanging out with you at Enjoying Marriage way back when).
