  1. Sometimes the best lyrics are when there’s nothing left to say by thank you. I love the progrssion form minor 7ths to 9ths to maj7 etc etc. Then you throw in an augmented somewhere along the line. Or something to that affect. Didn’t analyse. Just gives a laid back vibe. Off beat movements give it feel. You could have left off the lyrics and had a sax and electric guitar run the melodies. That’s a favorite right there. Great song and great words.

  2. Always thought this was a great song! It’s a little tongue in cheek but it’s good humored and especially well meaning. Got a friend of mine who I went to bible college with back in the 80’s, sends me random youtube videos of your music and we just continue to thank God for the music offerings that sort of permeated our late teens and now our early sixties. So much of Christian music is stifling and heavy, must be hard to be a Christian artist. Thank you Bryan. Your music means more than I think you realize to so many of us…

    1. Hey PG! been a while.. I remember you! with one o those last names that takes an extra two minutes to type LOL thanks for the good words .. funny I never felt heard much most of my career… always leavin town after another gig! Glad yer still sufferin for Jesus.. tell yer friend I said thanks

      1. Will do, and keep writing…may not seem like you’re moving mountains along the way but God has his own “Billboard” and you’re on it!! Malachi 3:16

  3. Verse 3 really speaks to me. I know I’m not the first to say something like that. Sometimes having no words is all we can muster up, but God knows our hearts. And we can be grateful in silence.
