  1. Since God is a Father He can know us by first name only haha.
I love in Isaiah that He calls us “mine”.
My mom used to use all 3 names if we were in trouble…my sister got that more that I did.
This also reminded me that mom told me my dad named me Linda Suzanne but those names weren’t on their name list.
Naming me is just the 2nd thing he did for me after giving me life before his suicide.
Names are important usually gives us identity. But I am glad my real identity is in Christ.
With all your names haha I am happy you call you friend.

  2. Wow! Your mind was racing faster than the roadrunner! I just wanna know how many cups of coffee you had before you made this one

  3. I can’t stand my name…pronounce it like I’m in the military…or a manĺ…or if you just use my initials well
…who am …the great whore of Babylon? I chose Catherine as my confirmation name and people said she was a gentle warm woman.I had a friend whose older sister was named Catherine and she was so nice to me…maybe that’s why I left the Catholic church in search of real faith. People didn’t understand me…some people don’t understand how I managed to pass the bank balance inspection this month so I can finally go on my insurance so I’ll feel I belong…did Kevin have that problem? Too much $for insurance and not enough for care?

  4. Hey there “Sir talks alot” now that’s funny. So you know the Peter is really really Peter. His name was actually Shimon Caephah. Mary magdellin actually means Miriam from Magdellin. It’s a little village on the North west side of the sea of Galilee. Whish by the way, is actually called the keneret. Which is a form of the word violin. Since in the old days the shape of the lake was like a violin. Names said a lot. Every Hebrew name has a meaning. Everything had a purpose. aero smith. That’s funny.

  5. Hilarious!! Now consider my last name, Dull. When asked how to spell it, I say as in boring, lol! There is actually a really cool story behind the name. Wish we still put meanings to names, they give a legacy in a way. Glad the Bible says whoever believes in Jesus will have eternal life. If he used my name I would have thought it must be for someone else with that name. This nutshell is bouncing around in my head like a pinball-lots of interesting things to think about.

    1. Yay! .. wanna hear that story bout yer name.. interesting one to choose for the whole family! LOL my full name means tall dark warrior so … it’s right on time for me! LOL
