  1. Very special song and I am sure many have loved it throughout these years! If a song lights up the lives of the listeners like those represented here, that is the true test of its worth!

  2. Perfect song for the times…and when needed for that extra hand of support…a very special song! Thank you for writing it.

  3. OMg…love this song! It reminds me of 1980s but it’s associated with your 1990 album time period. The sound is so musically pure – nothing like the music I hear in this 21st century. Thanks for the share.

  4. A very special song with one’s needs and ❤️. Thank you for writing and sharing this on̈e Bryan!

  5. B , I HAD FORGOTTEN HOW GREAT A SONG IT WAS . I LOVED IT BACK THEN AND IT’S LIKE THAT IT’S DONE GOT SWEETER AS THE YEARS WENT BY ! I’M SUPRIZED THAT A LOT OF YOUR SONGS HAVE NOT BEEN COVERED BY OTHER ARTIS IN THE CHRISTIAN MUSIC GENRE. TO ME YOUR SONGS ARE SOME OF THE BEST EVER DONE IN THE INDUSTRY ! I THINK I HAVE HEARD MAYBE 2 OTHER ARTIS COVER YOUR SONGS BOTH FROM THE SWEET COMFORT BAND ERA . I THINK STEVE ARCHER DID ONE AND THIS OTHER CAT DID” PERFECT TIMING,”ALL I CAN SAY IS THEY TRIED ! EITHER ONE WAS NOT LIKE WHAT WHITNEY HOUSTON DID FOR DOLLY PARDON’S SONG. DOLLY MADE ME LAUGH CAUSE THEY ASKED HER ABOUT THE ROYALTIES FROM WHITNEY DOING WHAT SHE DID FOR THE SONG AND SHE REPLIED TO THE EFFECT – IT SURE BOUGHT ME A LOT OF WIGS ! SO MAYBE B WHEN YOU GET A LITTLE OLDER SOMEONE WILL DO TO ONE OF YOUR CLASSICS WHAT WHITNEY DID AND YOU TO CAN SAY IT SURE BOUGHT ME A LOT OF TOUPEES ! THAT IS IF NEEDED !

    1. Hi CJ.. Dolly owns nashville btw.. the royalties I heard from an insider were 500 million dollars just from the Whitney Houston cover. yea, had I been more successful in my own releases.. perhaps others would have approached them.. the one complaint I heard was the vocal lines were too difficult for most singers..

  6. When this came out, wonderful album, I got the poignancy of this song. At one time, you revealed, that you thought you were unloveable. This is patently untrue. Processes of the rigors of your job and the devil drove a wedge in your marriage. It was overwhelming for both of you. Truly tragic. So many times I have seen a clear ending, even in God, only to watched it demolished. I don’t have all the answers, just have to painstakingly hope in the One who does.
