  1. Hmmm. Good message! There is a difference between pretending and…. “Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬
That’s how it feels at my church anyway. Definitely have felt the phoniness you speak of at some other churches.

  2. I’ve got to stop writing lengthy replies cause it takes too long and if I need to pause disappears! I am in complete agreement with nutshell. We called it dressing for church. Or what should I wear? Wear your church clothes! I also was diagnosed as passive aggressive. Now it’s anxiety. I also have to remember that’s a slippery loop that can lead to other things like delusional which is seeing things that aren’t there. One doctor said anxiety is the continued memory of a bad situation. I try to remember that. There’s too much fleece and pomp t today!

  3. I grew tired of worrying about what other people think. Don’t care anymore. But wonder is it possible that verse referring to our obedience and interpretation of the commands. You’ll see that he uses the issue of food. In judiasm food is a major issue. Clean vs unclean. Sometimes we need to look at the bigger picture and understand someone else’s point of view. Your right though, can’t make everybody happy. I stopped trying….. And I stopped apologizing.

  4. You done dun it again B, Another gem of a nutshell right here ! We all at sometime or two try to present the false face like Guy Fawks because of maybe pride or fear and not for looking out for the next guy of what he thinks ! Selfish yeah maybe, but the simple fact is that some of us haven’t thought that far in advance to process what ever we are doing may hinder or hurt anyone! We are stewing in our own soup that the hotness of whatever the situation we are in gets most of our focus not the welfare of our brother . So unfortunately we may continue to walk on them eggshells a little longer & lighter cause the price of them still need to come down just a little more ! By then we maybe able to let our guard down with each other enough to trust to be real with each other with general care, respect and feelable love that’s undeniable ! Thanks for letting me share B, Hey this lovely velvet couch fits my 6 foot 3 frame nicely as I pour out these lengthy diatribes as you patiently listen Doc I mean B !So glad for the cost of doing so, IT’S better than Blue Cross and Blue Shield Payment Plan ! I think I’ll keep coming back !
