  2. Guilty! I envy my daughter’s in-laws because they are living in my dream beach house. Not the house itself, but just living right there on the beach. Anytime we visit, I just sit there and look out and wish that was my scenery. But then I think God that I live near my grandson, even in our third story condo. Condo. Every time I get in our cars, I thank God that they’re still running and we have a good mechanic to go to when we need something fixed. I’d like something better, but these are the ones we were led to and they work fine. By the way, sorry about your car. I try to think everyday of something to be grateful for and try to dismiss the negative stuff I see around. Maybe not dismiss, but sometimes ignore, but most times pray. Around for a while. Dealing with different issues, and trying to get back in some sort of rhythm. Again. Glad you’re still putting out your your sermons.

    1. my God bein stolen might be a God wink.. I’m gonna need all that insurance money to put toward new Dental expenses coming this year.. staggering medical/Dental costs in old age

  3. My mother used to make sweets all the time. I quite often have conversations with her up there in heaven. Telling her why did you make so many sweets, my teeth are falling out. The funny thing is my mother had dentures at a very young age of 21 years old. She never experienced the pain of root canals and implants.

  4. B, The words “Don’t covet what other people have when you don’t know what it cost them” can be a be a good thing to remember before you go down Covet Road . Sometimes that road can be the trickiest rabbit hole of them all. You see your neighbor pull up in his driveway with a new hot red benzo and you look in your driveway and you see your 10 year old hoopdy with 100,000 miles on it ! Yeah you might be tempted but what you didn’t know is he worked 70 hrs a week and put in 350 days out of the year for 3 years !If that don’t back you up from your face pressed hard against the Krispy Kream donut shop glass WHEN THE RED LIGHT IS ON how about this: There she is and in your eyes not only is she all that and 3 bags of chips she’s prettier than Mr. Baily’s daughter, but she’s in the arms of another ! You try hard but your mind is at war with you now cause you almost at the place of the gots to have and that’s Covet central a no go zone ! What you didn’t realize is what homeboy went through to get the girl ! He had outstanding stellar finances now he’s broke in 5 hrs right after payday ! His impeccable credit’s
    shot after 6 months with her and he’s on stress meds because she threatens to leave him! The one you covet so hard just ripped( the guy’s arm she was on man card up) and left him in a puddle of woe! Coveting can cost you dearly just think what if you did get what that guy had, cause you wanted it so bad ! ALL THAT GLITTERS AIN’T GOLD LIKE COVETING TELLS YA !

  5. I’m a longtime friend of covetting…people covet me for what I’ve got and don’t have.when I invite them in they look around at at my stuff..which isn’t much left…then they don’t want to leave! My mother had great sayings…just don’t advertise…he who steals my purse steals trash…beauty is simply neat clean and well dressed…laundry is simple one to wash, one to wear and one to spare. Mom had short hair, J have long and neither spend little time on it..always conditioner…neat clean and well groomed. Beauty comes from within…nutshell? Lol

  6. I enjoy your Nutshell sermons- some very wordy sermons could definitely be said in a lot less words- I’m a get to the point kind of person and have been told I have a very dry type of humor- whatever that means- I also love your songs which I play a lot while working out
