  1. I feel like you’ve been talking to Jon Fugler. He talks about being instead of doing. How we’re always trying to do things and making a checklist of getting together with God or praying or whatever. He doesn’t want to be on a checklist, he just wants to be with you and we should want to be with him all the time also.
Now you got the Mickey Mouse theme in my head. So much to take in of your life, and I’m sure you haven’t hit every single part because there is so much more in those almost 73 years. Love it!
    Thanks for sharing.

      1. He’s still in radio in a different capacity. Jon serves as the Chief Content Officer and directs the worldwide programming of TWR. The ministry goes out in 230+ languages reaching 190 countries and territories. Noonie produces global content and co-labors with me to develop global programming.
Jon is finally joining us In the 70s age bracket on Monday.

  2. B, I guess come to think of it we all get caught in the performative treadmill from time to time. Eating on what we see, and feel can often grow us into expressing exactly that sometimes. That can be good or bad depending on how we express what we internalized! Sounds like your journey was quite the one that took you down to roads that forged who you became as a songwriter ! I Hope now you don’t feel like you got to get on that performing treadmill these days you done been there done that ! Now it’s time for B to do everything at his pace as much as that is humanly possible. Early in your career maybe you may have unintentionally been a HUMAN DOING but now B you can relax and be exactly what your counselor was alluding to many years ago !

      1. That’s good to hear B ! Good thang you got a nice pair of Shades cause things are gonna get bright up in der for ya !

  3. I believe that’s why you started writing songs in the first place…I started writing poetry and lyrics as a teenager in depression. My professor said my poetry was so good I should major in English and writing…so I did. Isn’t wonderful that we can make beautiful out of dark circumstances? The truth is that there’s nothing else to do! Your pain must have been excruciating cause your music is so wonderful! Because you give Jesus credit He gave you the awesome voice that sounds divine ✨️.

    1. wonderful thought.. I learned not to compare my pain to that of others.. that was a pain of it’s own.. wonderful imagination to look for something to create from the darkness of your own mind! I’m right there

  4. Howdy Bryan, I’m a former Christian music DJ and, currently, a professional Santa Claus. So, I appreciate this Nutshell Sermon. My wife and I are fans of yours and Christ followers. I appreciate you keepin’ it real and keepin’ the Faith.

    1. Hey and yer first time to stop in and comment thanks good to hear from you RB! let me know what yer wife’s name is too.. and thanks for playin my music I should say! after all these years

  5. Poetry, songwriting, novelist and other artistic communication is reaching out to be heard and understood. Lots of times teens and youngsters are interested cause they have the time and opportunity for searching and sharing what they’ve done ✔️

  6. Wow that’s a topic of your life! Lots of others creatively inspired ✨️ but yours is blessed by God’s grace with a beautiful velvet voice that’s yours and yours alone. It’s true that many musicians and writers began their careers in their teens and kept growing getting older like a fine wine inspired for lifetime and lifestyle with all they need to survive

    1. thanks for the observations Lookin back at my time here. I dont have regrets for much.. so guess it was mostly all good til now… and there’s a little rest where I am or peacefulness under the waves!
