  1. Pray without ceasing just reminds me that my morning prayers move onto to my moon/afternoon conversations with God then mellows out in the evening and moves into my dreams at night. It’s every breath we are breathing…each moment is new.

  2. Found it! Chaplain Katie from tictoc here.

So often I feel like my prayers don’t matter. How could they? My whole life I’ve been treated like I was insignificant, first in my family of origin, then as a single Christian lady who seems to have disobeyed God by not being married, though he never led me to it. Maybe bringing my petitions before God daily means having the boldness to rebel against that message. I do mean something to God, so my prayers mean something. If I don’t feel this way due to lies I’ve been taught over the years, I need to act like it is so. After all, the just shall live by faith.

    1. Hey there you are Katie! glad you found the back row… thanks for your comments, sounds like you might be a little misled about marriage as a absolute requirement … something you could look at and compare notes with more than one opinion on it. Anyway welcome to the back row believers Pew

        1. so yer email is Mary K? I think my mom mighta worked for you LOL … but you prefer Katie.. and now I’m tryin to figure out where we started talkin? youtube… Tik Tok … X … FB

  3. A friend of mine called me today—let’s just say it was an answer to a prayer. 🙂 Praying for you and Cassie and that God will heal her and take away her pain.

  4. Wow. Thank you for the reminder/gentle face slap, that we pray because He’s worthy and wants us in an active relationship with Him, not because we’re the answer…. I’ve been walking with the Lord almost 50 years, and I -still- need to “get taken out to the woodshed” sometimes. Praise Him for His mercy.

  5. I like to consider my present journey a cruise where I can slow down, enjoy the lifestyle that was offered me and can afford. I’m not rich but enjoy simple pleasures like socializing, music and projects that are fun and lovely, the same way you enjoy gardening my special friend

  6. There’re plenty of other things to grow my friend …Cherry tomatoes, herbs , veggies, as well as many many fruits and flowers. When I was growing up we had a backyard with fig and banana trees, honeysuckle bushes along with palms and other the like. My grands had a greenhouse, a tropical birdhouse and chicken coup in barn. Granny bragged she never ate a store-bought egg in her life. Both sides of grands were emerald green hands! Before I came to Treemont I had an indoor garden of strawberries , herbs and veggies. It’s really small, easy to fit on a table and Amazon has it now…am just a tad tempted cause we’ve got the garden patio here. And thanks for letting me brainstorm here my special friend you’re a !

  7. I’ve had some of those very same thoughts about prayer. Apparently Jesus did too. We’re in good company. I think of prayer as joining with the person I’m praying for. Might be reflective of the spiritual reality we live in… In Christ and connected to others who are in him.

    1. you are an encouragement to me my whistler buddy on the back row.. knowin that somebody else is familiar with the path I’m on.. thought I was by myself more than once Thanks Steve

  8. I wonder how often we pray and are not aware that we’ve been answered and since the Holy Spirit prays with and I’m guessing interprets our feeble prayers maybe they count for more than we think.
