Yes I’m understanding the sibling or family resentment…I was a 1st born my mom and her mom…it’s more like expectation of excellence and perfection …I was rebellious and that’s why I never succeeded in getting ahead… the thing is I caught up with them and they said Jane I don’t know how you do it! The truth is I’ve never caught up…I’ve learned to fake it

I do my best to avoid situations that might cause resentment in the first place. But there are always those that whether you did or said something to cause an issue,they’ll resent you regardless. It’s in their DNA. So I stopped paying attention.
I’ve been havin more trouble with my own fam as of late.. and it all started when I tried to reconnect

I’m an only child. Always told my kids I just don’t get the whole sibling thing. That’s not to say I haven’t had issues with other family. Especially in-laws.
Part of it might be a faith issue, some of it might be because my Mom said I was bossy. …lol
well I know I have more than one blind side.. that’s why I sit on the back row.. cuts down on the ‘angles’ LOL
