  1. God’s mercy and Grace is hard to fathom. We see evil such as Putin or a pedophile and cry out for justice right now. He sees them as a precious creation. Sin is not without consequence but often God’s slow to anger quality is not an appealing response to our perceived enemies. Thanks for this insightful nutshell sermon

  2. Good one, Bryan

If you can’t say amen, say ouch! LOL!

IMO, it gets harder and harder, doesn’t it? Doom scrolling feeds this, I think; if we didn’t see so much of it on the internet, we would probably not be nearly as overwhelmed by all the evil out there that is just begging for God’s justice. We’re supposed to be salt and light, but there are times I want to give a good verbal thrashing to some yahoo I feel deserves it. Even if I don’t say it (and I usually don’t), I’m thinking it! God help me not to be a hypocrite! My business is loving with the love of Jesus, not judging, which is really a good thing. I have enough to do just trying to judge myself accurately! LOL .

  3. I remember a friend who always wanted God’s judgment to come upon people. ALWAYS. I got sick of hearing it and reminded him “the Joy of the Lord is our strength” not “I can’t wait for everybody to receive the judgment they deserve from the lord” is our strength. So…you must be very WEAK. Angry, bitter and weak.

  4. Wow Bryan that’s quite a story…sounds like a lot like the leud plots they’re writing today. I wouldn’t be hard on yourself cause so many writers are giving people what they want…and it isn’t YOU! That’s what separates a writer from a good one. There’s so much sensationalism now, from the news and views, to steamy sleeze and Christian rromance. Not everyone is appreciative of good content…they want to hear about housewives on their zillionist devorce…their same number of plastic surgeries…and people say Wow, that’s awesome

  5. Unfortunately, a lot of people don’t recognize a good thing when they have it. Bry baby is looking good in that fur robe & I like his gold necklace! I saw a saying on a church sign today & want to share it with my fellow Nutshellians. It said: “God’s love is like glitter. It never leaves us.” We’re shining like glitter on the back row. ✨
