That’s an awesome song Bryan. The lyrics remind me of Ain’t no stopin now…a dreamer caught in a tailspin not knowing where to go or end up. Jesus is there as support and guide. That is sooo good! Rock Solid. Thanks again Bryan for sharing another great song. Oh and I recognized your voice talking at the end…velvety smooth and young laugh
Really drawn in by both the laid back smooth musical groove plus the lyrics – straight from the inner being. Real and authentic. Noted the lead guitar part – reminiscient of Phil Keaggy and Glass Harp. Don’t recall the guitar part like this on the original recording. Highly creative. Got my ear. Well done guys – still got the groove together. That’s the energising power sourced from partnership with Holy Spirit.
Gotta love Bob! That man’s music helped me establish my belief early in my beginnings. Love this collaboration! Thanks for sharing Bryan!

Hi Tracy been a long time since I was in Doeur D’Alene or Idaho at all… most of those lyrics I can tell were written by Bob.. Rick is singer player and song idea man..
This song was a nice change of pace on this album. Truly a song that so sneaky smooth it’s like when you get a tune in your head and you cant stop humming it off and on throughout the day ! It always had that laid back” EAGLE’S” feel to it to me . How do yall keep these songs sounding so good? What I Hear so far you guys are giving your originals a run for the money !This SCB 1980 something bottle of vintage song just keep getting sweeter as time goes by and like the old honeymooner Jackie Gleason himself use to say “HOW SWEET IT IS “!
it is in the Nature of Bob Bennett to be acoustic and introspective.. but as a lyric hound, I gotta say he turns a nice phrase.. like a dying Swan in a Twisted Dance!…
I forgot about this song. Gut punch for me today. “My life is a puzzle scattered on the ground” Is this album going to be released in digital or cd? I’m hoping to be able to get a copy.
yes.. soon as the vinyls are printed all will be released CD and downloads.. and I posted this mellow cut from the new project.. because I can surely feel my own need these days for help…
I had such a great couple nights with SCB when these recordings were made. They we warmly welcomed me (Acoustic Boy) into the Band Groove/Hang. Thank you Bryan …

great lyrics too.. ‘every time I turn around I’m on my last chance’ synopsis
This is beautiful! And it “really is true” that God holds us in the palms of His hands all the time. Amen from the back row.
“I promised myself.. I’d win at love…” stunning and inviting lyric!
