Amen! I recently covered “after this day is gone”. I heard you play that at a State prison that I worked at. Hit me like a ton of bricks. I have never related to song so much.
Wow thats incredible to hear. we write and sing and seldom know what the impact is! what an honor to me your words are!
Resonantes well with me.
Why is it creative-types often live in the melancholy?
It’s a familiar and comfortable place for me. Not that I don’t like being joyful, mind you!
Anyway, sure love your take on life in these sermons!
My only real complaint?
They’re too short! You just deliver the punch and then it’s “thanks for listening!”
Good thing I’m so late to discovering them. I get to binge-listen whenever I get the chance!
LOL it’s short Julie because I have A.D.D. and I’m also afraid I will run out of significant thoughts if I continue I might confess to something I’m not proud of! LOL thanks for the encouragement though.. I’m starting to add a few more spaces though between thoughts.. to let you catch your breath! Means a lot to me to hear from you. “Like Minds”
