  1. I’m sorry, I just had to laugh. When you said something about sitting on our own “thrones” (yes, I went there), I thought that might be the best place to be sitting when we’re looking at others’ faults rather than our own. You know the 2 sayings , one regarding pointing out the faults of others, when they’re probably the same faults you don’t wanna face that are in you. And then when your pointing your one finger at someone, there are three pointing back at you.

I keep telling myself to stop criticizing and calling people names (usually just in my head). But sometimes I say it out loud, and my grandson immediately tells me to stop. Such is life.

  2. This hit home. I think we highlight the negatives in others so that we can apply them to our own faults. Two negatives make a positive in math multiplication. I think the Lord does addition.

  3. Well there ya go. I need to stand in front of the mirror a bit more often.. probably need an eye doctor to get the tree outta of my own eye. Thanks for the wake up call….
If you point your finger at someone look carefully at your hand, while one goes forward, Three point back at you….

  4. Funny, as we just finished a 7 day cruise, everyone was so happy. After all it was on the “fun ships”, but on the last day when we all had to be out of our room and hearded like cattle to get off the ship, everyone’s demeanor changed. It became a free for all. The judging began!!!
Let get coffee and compare notes soon!

  5. Ouch! Why ya gotta hit so hard?!! What, tryin’ to knock me off my throne? Yeah, I know I need to remove myself but sometimes I like feeling self-righteous. I’ll try to straighten up before God gives me the 1-2 punch.
