“… wasn’t my truth but I wanted it to be”
That prayerful wish forward desire that can be obtained through a relationship with GOD. It’s a daily occurrence that doesn’t take a lot of time just fine tuning and awareness.
I enjoyed this nutshell, so much to take in but what stuck out aside the quote was you describing the off key singing of the men of the rescue mission. The joy of them singing your song that they related to in their lives.
Thanks Nan I didn’t think anyone would pick that up… ‘it was my truth…’ thanks for hearing everything

Just over 2 years ago my youngest daughter Tracy was stricken with aplastic anemia and came within a nanobyte of dying.. again. Her older sister’s marrow matched very close and Tracy got a transplant from her. Once again Tracy’s life was gifted back to us. Now, even though she is Tracy her biopsies come up Shawna. When you mentioned Adam and the ‘woman’ he blamed it reminded me that the woman was only “bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh” and wasn’t even called Eve yet, just ‘the woman’.
Adam forgot quickly who the woman was and where she came from when the blame game started. Selective memory is a common problem and sometimes I find myself quoting Flip Wilson…
“the devil made me do it”..
good insights KP.. thanks for the info into your daily picture as well.. never thought about eve in that way… kinda hard to distance ourselves from our own body!
I don’t know if I wrote a sufficient comment or not…you are such an awesome writer and singer Bryan! Every idea you have is always brilliant…and you select people who can help make them come alive to not only be recorded, but to reach multitudes others can’t. That’s because your inspiration, imagination and bravely putting it out there are the recipe for that particular prayer. Oh well maybe I didn’t say it well…you are awesome Bryan in ministry and Song! It also seems like you’re having fun with your music friends and it makes it easier!
thank you for your kind words/// and yes it was great to be in a room with real musicians again.. I will post the song by itself tomorrow on here
Mark Baldwin??? Awesome! All of my musical idols are studio musicians and he’s one of them. I have a solo guitar album of his that is just fabulous. That’s awesome to hear that you worked with him on this album! I need to check it out….right about now.
wow yer goin thru all the history. I found a MB’s Christmas project in a bargain bin noticed he was on Forefront records.. CCM label.. so I knew I could find him! He has like 200 guitars in his basement! LOL
Ah. It’s not on Spodify but I found it on YouTube.
I can send you the Joyride project via individual Mp3’s btw I. hate Spotify anyway.. they steal everything from every artist.
Wow! The musicianship on this album is soooo good. I had to look up album credits and it’s like the best of best. You sound amazing as always. I can’t believe this album is a hard find.
it was a one and done project for Provident records.. I was facing a divorce and nobody wanted a part o me in CCM world
