  1. You’re not afraid to ask the hard questions….the kind that supposedly shows your faith may be lacking. The questions we all ask…

    1. Hey Phil, thanks for signing the guestbook. I think I saw you on the Twit this morning.. glad someone can resonate.. sometimes my prayers raise sanctimonious eyebrows.. LOL don’t be a stranger over hear.. on my wise guy devotions too

  2. Honest and real! I’m a Pastor and have said that prayer too. God Bless amd still praying for your brother.

  3. Ding ding ding!!! Definitely have thought those things. Don’t speak them directly to God… but he hears them anyway, so I guess may as well be praying . Appreciate your transparency. Not enough of that in the bride.

  4. I’m having a moment here…when I pray for healing I do get it, when I’m broke, I see all I have, and when I’m lonely I find companionship. First I have to companionship with God’s gracefully gift, Jesus!

  5. We always learn something in the waiting.
We don’t always know what it is until much later.
We can be learning important wisdom that we don’t realize as we go through things or we are in the waiting.
But then you start a podcast later and all that you didn’t know you learned comes right out here to benefit the rest of us.
Works that way in all areas of life. People will ask me how I know something I said during prison ministry and I’ll say I don’t know lol God just worked through me.
We are always in process even if we don’t know it at the time.
Then it comes to us and we are amazed at what God did suddenly but He had been working on it the whole time.
    Love that

  6. I don’t give up and I won’t give up…I ask Jesus for answers and pray and quietly wait. Praise God’s grace comes to me. ..I look around there’s blessings already

    1. Psalm 77; 6 Has God forgotten to be merciful?
Has he in anger withheld his compassion?”
10 Then I thought, “To this I will appeal:
the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand.
      11 I will remember the deeds of the Lord;
yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
12 I will consider all your works
and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”

  7. I hope I don’t get in trouble with the Lord if I say this. But I have experience similar feelings of course in the past, more than once. And I think we all have. So if it happens again, we’ll just elect you ” Speaker of the House” LOL

  8. If a person says he has not felt this way, then I don’t trust them. But we all want to be super spiritual, unfortunately. Thank you for speaking truth from your heart.
