  1. Don’t want a shallow Thanksgiving or any other day lol.
You are correct people are happy with their stuff, Black Friday proves that. Nothing shows a shallow Thanksgiving like a Black Friday wrestling match in a store to show your kids how generous we are by fighting for their favorite gadget.
God never guaranteed our happiness but He does say He brings joy that gives us strength and it lasts longer.
Without the Giver we got nothing

  2. Hi Bryan, was I the one who wished you Happy Thanksgiving? I did a lot of that yesterday! Please understand Bryan that’s just the way I am…love to celebrate everything…of course it’s from God as the Pilgrims worshipped Him. Celebrations are good a chance to get together and love ❤️ it. I’m a little old lady who enjoys dressing nicely having long put up and lots of fragrance to last through the day…it’s my identity…the Lord made me the one to have the Joy decor on my door…I’m sorry if this bothers you my special friend ❤️ it’s just the way I am and think you’re okay too!

  3. I get it. What you were putting down. Happenings seem to be good or bad and if they control our trust and Joy we can end up very vulnerable. The Joy of the Lord is your strength
    Not a happening.

  4. Happy Thanksgiving, Bryan! The point you make about not having to be happy to be thankful is a good one. God never promised us happiness, did He? He promised joy and He promised that He would take care of us. He is good, all the time. Anyway I’m thankful that your Thanksgiving Day ended better than it began. All the time, He is good…

  5. So here’s in israel weren’t have Thanksgiving, but as my American culture pops up. I took a vacation day. Did nothing, but comtemplate what to be grateful for, and you are 100% correct. We need to say thank you to the one who’s actually given us everything, and for the loved ones hes given. Stuff can be replaced. Loved ones cant. Then detroit ruined my day by losing.

  6. CORRECT IN THE FINAL ASSESMENT B , WE GOTTA TRULY REMEMBER THE ONE WHO REALLY MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO BE HERE AND HAVE ANYTHING WE DO HAVE ! THAT IS INDEED SOMETHING TO BE GREATFUL AND THANKFUL FOR !

  7. Tryin hard to get through the holidays this year with a modicum of joy. Thus far that isn’t happening. Good reminder to remember the who and not the what
