Sounds about right with the way life ends up going. My life has definitely not turned out the way I expected, but God is still faithful and good. My biggest struggle is gratitude. My negativity about everything creeps up on me and puts me in a bad place; complaining about my situation and what I wish it was instead. Oftentimes, I find myself praying – AGAIN – for God’s forgiveness and for Him to help me with my attitude and gratitude. It’s really forced me to run to Him.
Please rescue Bry Baby from working outside in the hot weather. Bless his heart. I know God has my life planned out for me but it’s sometimes hard for me to be patient. Psalm 46:10 is coming to my mind—“Be still, and know that I am God.” Speaking of that, I’m still trying to be still on the back row. It’s hard for me to hear due to the babbling Balognians. Besides the binoculars I may also need hearing aids. LOL. That’s it in a nutshell. 🙂
Judging by cutie pie Bry Baby on the captive road cleanup crew, it’s so true…we need to all get together ❤️ and cleanup the stuff others have chosen to litter! It doesn’t matter who made the mess, it’s a job someone’s need to do…keep America beautiful so they say. I saw a group of seniors once picking up litter in the park! Another way to beautify our great country is plant trees and flowers. People seem to be.more hesitant to litter flower beds especially rose bushes. we all need .more trees after paper mills and fires take their tolls. Developers also seem to prefer cement to living beauty. So grab your grabber and garden tools and get it done before you do it ass a captive! Lol…I know gardening is one of your faves Bryan my special friend
I honestly believe you are so funny, you even make the Father and Jesus laugh…now the Holy Spirit probably stirs up this gift of humor in you…so the Holy Spirit probably snickers as the inspiration flows out…I love making people laugh…it’s a weird quirky thang but I get so much enjoyment from being weird and seeing the world thru my lens….you’re a blessing Bryan…selah.
You smashed it out of the park, Bryan!! lol Most people miss that part. Thanks for the reminder.
IMO, it feels like we do have moments of freedom in the midst of our lifelong captivity (thanks to Father Adam and Mother Eve) – we get to enjoy them a bit like a long-tailed cat gets to enjoy napping in a room full of busy rocking chairs.
But that’s here, in our sojourn as aliens in a hostile world. Praise God, a day is coming when we will graduate from here, and then we’ll look back on it all and… Well, I think we’ll have a lot to talk about when we see it from His perspective.
Ya know, it dawned on me that Bry Baby sounds a lot like Cry Baby, haha!! This verse was presented to me at one of my lowest points specifically because of the context. Nasty bad situation but there is hope and future. It was hard to believe at the time but I’m still here so guess it is true. Won’t ever leave the back row though.
LOL the Bry Baby thing was intentional about sounding very simiar to a diaper screamer! LOL glad you caught it eventually LOL .. yer one o my favorite “Nutshellians” btw
Funny Stuff there B,I know it’s hard sometimes looking on the brightside when you can’t even see your hand in front of you cause it’s so dark in the rabbit hole we find ourselves in sometimes.Nothing but Prayer to and hope in the good Lord maybe the stint of all we can muster up in those situations.I guarantee one thing though the prayer (Lord please give me truly what I stand in need of in relation to my attitude ) will be uttered constantly !Our new theme song in BabbleBabalognia will be
“It will be a long time a long time coming but I know Change gon Come Yes it Will”Them two twin boys though I think the optimist got the bad end of that train of thought . The pessimist did tell the truth in his situation he just didn’t see the up side but the optimist gift, oh man ain’t no pony up in there and he is gonna find that out quick when he goes looking !
I also a special gift 2 years ago…a beautiful aquamarine sanddollar necklace made of seaglass. I put the pendant on my 14k rose chain cause it is unbreakable and long enough to go over my head…only I don’t take it off. It’s so special cause it’s from the ocean and reminds me of real sand dollars I would find on the beach when my mother took me shell gathering. One of my dreams is to go walking on that beach again, collecting shells! I told my doctor that and he said someday in the future I would! Sea glass is special and I don’t know if I’ll find it but just walking on the beach with the seabreeze, sand and waves will be like heaven to me…maybe I’ll find a conch and hear the ocean! What do you think my special friend ?
Thanks for the advice!…that sounds like a shock wave instead of the ocean!! They sell them in curio shops, all clean polished and beautiful. When I was a toddler on the beach, my parents thought it was safe, so I did…up until now! I think I must have been driving mom crazy with questions…we all do you know. Lol
There you go again, my friend, interpreting a verse in a way I’ve not heard (where have I been) and making a whole lot of sense.
Also expanding my vocabulary with babbling bolognians…I’m sure that will come in handy at some point…lol…

HA!! Yes, I’ve noticed that. However, I embellished the tall tale (see what I did there?) for the sake of extended humor. Laughter is good for us.
