Yeah, I can relate to the gas light coming on when you don’t really need it to. But I’m never running low on the back row. Always filled to the top listening to your Nutshell Sermons, Bryan D.
One of the true gifts is wisdom.
I hate that people invest their money on foreign projects. What about the kids at home or the homeless. Etc etc. Crazy we’re so excited to fix to someone else’s problems instead of cleaning up our own… take the plank out of our owns before running to take the toothpick outta someone else’s. Same concept as your last nutshell.
I’ve always been a little confused by that parable. I’m not sure exactly what the oil represents, or how exactly to make sure one’s lamp is full of oil. My guess would be that it means we should be careful to be full of the Holy Spirit. But yes, why would one not be expected to share. What kind of care does one have for oneself if expected to hoard the wealth of oil and selfishly pursue one’s own entrance into the kingdom to the exclusion of others around which you were otherwise expected to selflessly love. I don’t expect to find answers to these things. these are just some of the questions I’ve always had.
Ever since I was young I’ve pondered this scripture. Lots of times I’m tempted to share but haven’t cause I don’t have enough for my own comfort and health and felt guilty for it.y banker gives advice about money and knows my situation and standing. I take his advice even when it’s embarrassing. Likewise with security. Ì have the max.
I love all of these! Ive lost count of the times I have literally laughed out loud. I even bought his kindle book so I can go back when I need a chuckle.
