The NehoSoul Band was groovin’ big time! Immensely talented people in that band. Thanks for sharin’ the story behind the lyrics to this song. Yes, “Whisper My Name”, please. I’ll whisper yours also in my prayers.
I know exactly what waiting for prayed answers is….my counselor encouraged me saying I needed different plans, A B and even C…I’m on plan D for Done…I’ve gone as far as I can go. I’ve made the decisions in my life encouraged by people who think I’m capable of taking care of myself. I’m happy to have them and satisfied with everything. I’ve always been moving vertically, now it’s horizontally. Maybe on my slow incline to plan E if there is one. Don’t listen to people say that’s a shame cause they’ve never been in my life. It’s all good. Keep the view.
I think I’m going to leave this one alone, except to say I’m stuck between whether it makes sense to just say someone’s name in prayer, and whether God requires a little more of me. It just so happens that this morning I felt convicted when I realized I have not been praying for people in my life enough. I’m thinking of when the apostle Paul said I will pray with the spirit and with the understanding also. Perhaps to whisper someone’s name may be synonymous with praying in the spirit. I sometimes seem to have an understanding about a situation which others don’t, so I am more inclined to pray with the understanding.
my thought is sometimes, just like ‘we do not know what we should pray… and the spirit intercedes in Groaning’s that cannot be uttered’God understands the depth beneath the words or lack there of..
Whisper my name Bry. Yes, at times I am not sure why some of my prayers aren’t being answered. I want His will for the best outcome. I know mine can be shallow. Have a good weekend my friend on the back row.

Love you Scarr.. I doubt we can measure our own shallowness with God
