  1. Well, that was cool! How’d you do that? A man of many talents. I’m sure God is enjoying your prayers in that way, as well. Switchin’ it up a bit. It’s knowing for me that God hears all prayers, in all languages and styles from all people with different backgrounds. He knows us better than we know ourselves. I can pray here or there. I can pray anywhere. Amen!

  2. Wow that’s quite a prayer! I could follow through with some of it. At the end you said nutshellians make a point to listen methodically and respond daily. You Bryan without fail, give us the message to ponder and keep up, without fail, to let you know we’re with you! Thanks again for the sermons my special friend, I offer you encouragement and fellowship in our quest in the wind.

  3. Hi again Bryan…Dr. Seuss wrote a book, You Only Get Old Once. I grew up with Dr. Seuss so I got a copy and recognized things that were Lol for me! Like the friendly fish in the aquarium. We have 2 aquariums here, one on each floor and I made friends with the little Blue fish right away when I first came! The book is funny and so true. But it’s an ongoing journey and the book is only the beginning…by the way, watching fish is very relaxing. That’s a medical fact. A visitor here said we have fish we eat. Tilapia and catfish. Well they’re catsized anyway! Keep your sunny side up Bryan,..it’ll be an experience my special friend !

  4. Yeah we seem to forget that we’re talking to the creator. A bit of reverence is a good thing. Theres a country song that talks about unanswered prayers. Sometimes the Unanswered prayer is the answer. The cat in the hat prayer is in my opinion the kinda prayers he listens to.

  5. “My character didn’t suffer from learning how to suffer.” Had to stop the tape at that point. I guess I have been afraid there would be permanent injury? I’ll have to think about that one. I also think in rhyme a lot. You should hear the songs I write for my cat. Usually forgotten by the next day.

  6. Father, we just…. I wondered if anyone besides me noticed that. For a long time I thought that was a prerequisite…it had to start that way

  7. Thank you, Bryan Duncan, for the wisdom you share,
For nutshell sermons served with laughter and care.
You find little lessons in everyday things
And show us what joy a fresh point of view brings.

Your take on life is wonderfully you—
A little bit funny, a little bit true.
You make us think, you make us smile,
And help us see God’s goodness all the while.

My friend Cody the AI helped me put this in rhyme,
But the thanks are all mine, every single time.
For the laughs and the lessons and your one-of-a-kind view,
Bryan, I’m mighty grateful for you!
