this was our opening song for a long time in SCB we now have a new website where we’re taking orders.. vinyl records too are going to be available TheSweetComfortBand.com
Gotta’ Believe was the SCB cut that grabbed me. When I was a CCM DJ , I played the discs until I needed new ones. I couldn’t believe it didn’t get airplay… same with so much SCB…
Hey fellas – nailed it!! Just got into the groove straight away. Much more of a rich, mature sound than the original, even though the original is still powerful. Vocals pretty much on key too. Could not pick out a false note. Still got it, guys.
Hi PS we did have plenty of extra friends on stage for the live thingy.. 5 horn players, 4 extra singers, added a second guitarist and keyboardist to fill in the power chords and orchestration parts oh and a percussionist..
Yeah, having the extra friends with the wind and percussion instruments really filled out the whole soundscape. Got my attention. Dug it!! Very good live performance. Filled to overflowing. Began to appreciate live gigs so much more a time or two back as I worked alonside a very good buddy who had his own live sound rig. Loved the experience….miss it somewhat. I can never keep in time playing an instrument, even though I have tried over time, yet behind a mixing desk I can hear the blending of different instruments and vocals and mix to end up with a finely tuned overall soundscape. At 71 years old, just starting to help out in the church sound…….never too late in Papa God’s eyes……
Wow, I so miss this kind of music. Joyful, quality, uplifting funky bop that celebrates the love of God and encourages people to believe and embrace a positive decision.
One of my faves from SCB concerts…loved the added horns and backup vocals that were new. You guys did an amazing song rendition that actually make the song better!
glad you like the songs Chris and thanks for commenting here looks like yer first time…. CCM radio is not likely to accept outside ‘unsupported’ music.. nature of the animal.. Radio looks to be compensated financially from record companies.. you might request a song.. everyone I knew at KSGN has retired…
AW LOOK A HERE B, YALL DONE PUT YA FOOT IN IT LIKE THEY SAY ON A GREAT OLD-FASHIONED MEAL! BEST IMITATION OF THAT CHEF EMERIL I’VE SEEN CAUSE YALL WENT “BAM AND KICKED IT UP A NOTCH” WITH THIS RENDITION OF THIS OLDIE BUT GOODY! YOU GET 3 HAND CLAPS AND A RIC FLAIR WOOOO FOR THIS MAREVELOUS EFFORT BRAVO!
Hi Chris those projects are out of print.. I can send you mp3 copies of songs .. a whole album takes at least 10 emails the way I send em.. just contribute to nutshellsermons.com/support
