Love the song and the groove!! The church has always had a problem with bringing different things in and it always annoyed the heck out of me!! Seems like they’re so stuck they need oiling!! I never did really care about traditional stuff in the church. I loved the song there bro!! God bless your day!!

Love this story! I need to see if there’s video out there of this performance. This podcast really caught my attention, because I had just played the House of Blues – Orlando in July. I thought maybe it was the same one you were at, but turns out there’s several around the country. Awesome venue. Really cool ambience. But like you said in another comment, getting the check takes a while. Anyway, I love these stories from the road.
We played a couple of HoB venues,, but we didn’t inspire the drinking crowd much.. so it was a fun venue but not worth the money we got
