  1. Beautiful. It’s your chord changes that really are just sweet ear candy. Love your work Bryan.

    1. Thanks EDV! .. I out punted my coverage though.. most of my songs are too complex for a couple rehearsals.. the average church band couldn’t play em.. end of the day I sit in church in listen to songs that make me wonder why I worked so hard. I love chords beyond c a d and e major..

  2. Wow! What a great song. Beautifully haunting melody and words that are your usual excellence. I’d love to have all these songs you’ve shared, but have you ever thought of doing a Band Camp page where you can share your stuff? I believe it’s a subscription service though. Not sure if you can make things free if you wanted to. I know Phil Keaggy has one and I believe Uncle Randy might as well. Just a thought.

    1. Thanks AP for the kudos.. I make my songs available here on nutshellsermons really free to listeners , most of who support the podcast regularly. 1. Hi Cary great to see you on here. Me too.. I hadn’t listened to my own songs again til I started this podcast! I need this one everyday ….after I watch the news

  3. This is my 2nd favourite song of yours. Truly beautiful album. Did 3 vids to this song.
Part of the problem was that you were unreckognisable on the cover of the album. As a photography amateur, I am aware of tricks to make someone’s visage less than flattering. Very poor marketing. Hard to know which is worse, the secular or gospel music industry. Likely the latter as they profess to know the Light.

    1. Thats because Word records had one foot out the door at that point.. no marketing either.. but some of that is my fault .. I looked so tired on the photoshoot from a distance I was tryin to hold my eyes open wide.

      1. Yes, I realised that. So much politics and destruction in that industry. Blasphemy to call it “gospel.” Perhaps casting your pearls inappropriately.

        1. I learned in counseling myself that there’s 3 things I can’t change 1 other people 2 other people and 3 other people.. never forgot that and it is where most of my heartache comes from

  4. Oh my, that is hauntingly beautiful!

I wasn’t there, but my mother-in-law’s last day of life was in the hospital. She was lucid enough to talk to my husband and daughter and to say she’s fine and she’s ready to go Home…then she was gone. I hope to have that same peace that she had on my last day.

We now own the house that she lived in in San Luis Obispo. The inside is different, but the memories still live on. We’ll probably rent it out for a little bit and then maybe we’ll end up moving back up here in the future.

So, the CD that is stuck in the broken player in the van is probably there forever. The van just broke down and it’ll cost him too much to try to revive it. I suppose we could pull the radio section out and hopefully get the CDS out. We’ll see. My husband has the Bryan Duncan Channel on his Pandora, so we were listening to it on the way up to San Luis and I heard most of the songs that are on the Love Takes Time CD that’s in the van. So maybe I’ll do the same thing.

    1. Hi Robbbb wow you have a place to go in SLO!!!! ? man that sure sounds like a God send in many ways.. I proposed to my wife up there.. Morrow Bay on the beach.. as far as the CD .. don’t remember what was on that one but I’ll replace all the song if I can send to your email in MP3’s

        1. Let me work on that I think there’s like 18 songs on it? I don’t have that CD though can you remember what songs they were? I’ll just send you the the ones I’m sure are on it
if you think of em leave me a reminder I’ll be send 2 or 3 per email as that’s all the files it will hold at once
